Where’s the ‘switch vehicle’ shortcut gone? It used to be on the tiles at the bottom of the screen…

they replaced it with a better system
its in the context-menu now together with all the other options

It’s above the crew switch button.
There a side to side arrow button at the bottom, and a up and down arrow button slightly above that.
The side to side mouses over and is annoying when you’re trying to hit the up and down, and that causes me a lot of grief.
You want that up and down one.
One sits over the crew portion, the other is over the vehicle portion.
this was changed today, this is no longer how it is.
they removed it for a slower system
what do you mean slower? its drag and drop now so its WAY faster. just open the tech tree and drag the vehicle to lineup.
not having to open the tech tree to change vehicles was quicker for me

because in that menu you then had to choose rank, trained or not trained crew, air/ground/heli/mixed and then scroll to the BR you wanted. the new system its open tree, find vehicle, drag and drop.
i guess im just accurate with a scroll wheel. one click, scroll and enter. i never had any issues with it

and now its one click, scroll , drag-drop. its at worst arguably the same at your efficiency level.
not really, my cursor is over my presets normally so its less distance to move the mouse to a crewslot than to the tech tree menu making it quicker
This is just getting dumber and dumber…
All they needed to do was fix the damn switch vehicle button by stopping the swap crew mouse-over blocking the damn thing…
And yet they STILL can’t fix the default controls being messed over with this advanced crap they brought in with shift- every wsad key not being the movement or throttle required…
So dumb…

Exactly. It’s much more annoying now, since you need multiple actions to do the same thing that 1 button did previously.

The removal of vehicle switch button is the stupidest and most annoying change they ever made since i play war thunder. And it is since ships were introduced. First they made the same color for damaged vehicle and vehicle not applicable for set game mode, now probably the same guy comes with this.
Even more absurd if that RMB and LMB shows exactly the same menu, like why?
If you dont have automatic repair turned on, this is catastrophe. You need to switch vehicles that are on the same crew to always have selected unrepaired one. If you want to play and have some crews repairing and some not, you want make lineup from those crews, dragging from tech tree is unusable because you have to guess what vehicle can be set to that crews.
Why must they destruct things that work. If they are bored, there are still some almost 3 years ago reported (and acknowledged) bugs on my profile that were not fixed so far.
Do comprehend that once you get into a flow od doing things you do it incredibly quickly. Ex: if you got used to making bread, eventually you can be very quick and making it. In my case typing pretty fast.
I see absolutely no reason for removing the button, operation now requires more clicks, for what, someone didnt like there was a button or what??
