Where is the live server test for APHE changes

It seems like the 2 guaranteed APHE changes have been implemented on the live server.

Have I missed something? There was supposed to be a test as an event on the live server and a 2nd vote to decide whether we want the 3rd change - fragment zones. From what I remember there was a test on the dev server, but there were no tests on the live server.

What happened? Is this still being worked on or is the 3rd change just not coming through? There has been radio silence ever since the dev server test ended, as if everyone forgot about it.

It was implemented a solid core to the APHE round, which means when it explodes, it also works as solid going through for mechanic damage.

The spalling changes was not implemented due to the player’s decision during the survey.

the spalling changes were present as an extra box to tick in armor protection analysis for like 2 weeks after the update

Only for tests. Never was implemented on the game, during matches.

yeah and the vote was for implementation of a test, and then everyone got super mad when gaijin implemented the test when the vote was like 52% against and 48% for

Got to love democracy, gives everyone a vote despite the fact that some people shouldn’t due to simply not knowing enough and refusing to learn about it themselves (Not a political take, just airing my grievances about the poll and its outcome).

Im assuming they are waiting until after the holidays.

The vote was so close, that Gaijin decided to go with the tests.

They hoped that the tests would dispel doubts and the results of the 2nd vote would be more definitive, so that as many people as possible would be happy.

Now it seems like they either changed their minds for some reason, forgot about it or are still working on it.

I never saw the tests at all rly???

So in the end, the most powerful shell type in the game got even more powerful with this needless buff. What a joke.
Honestly I have never even noticed the APHE test in the protection analysis, if the other commenters are to be believed.
