Where is our J10B&J11B

Never claimed that, just stated that China’s rate of military expansion is larger than anyone else in the world currently, and they plan to keep going, quantity will eventually win over quality

Can you do some research before visiting this topic again, at their current production rate, china is predicted to overtake the US in numbers of 5th gens (Between J-20/J-35) by 2030, as they are producing roughly 75 J-20s yearly and are adding even more with the production of J-20S and J-35A

Yes, that’s true, but their “military expansion” is just military tech, for god sake, they still operate J-7’s and ZTZ-59’s (both early Cold War weapons) that “growth” is simply inflated because they’ve been required to upgrade to remain “a global super power”

I refer back to my last point, please do some research, I can understand that you are an American and may have a conformation bias but that is no reason to spread misinformation

Okay, that’s lovely, a jet that’s relatively cheap, has no proven abilities, and is unknown if it’s truly a threat, while your forgetting that NATO together, in F-35’s alone, would far surpass them.

“Conformation bias” doesn’t exist, it’s fairy dust, an idea in the wind. I’m not going off of some US Government propaganda theory, I’m going off of publicly available statistics and sources, that aren’t even from US entities, I’m literally doing the exact opposite of:

I’m perfectly aware, my nation recently purchased a batch of F-35As to replace our F/A-18C fleet but that statement itself is ignoring the fact that most of America’s allied f-35 operators have no feasible way of doing combat with china, limiting the vailidity of the statement in the given context

JASDF and ROKAF are 100% capable, you also forget that, even if the J-20 is stealthy, and has difficulties with being spotted with radar, RWR can give you warning, source, rough distance, once you shake that, data linking systems keep your planes aware of that location and can effectively retaliate. Don’t even bring up IR missiles, because they are only thesible in visual range, which is an easy counter.

The J-7s were retired a while ago and I also believe they don’t use the ZTZ59 as well, I know for a fact you got that from Wiki as it’s present there lmao.

Those previously operated J-7s were pretty modernised as well, I also should mention they weren’t frontline fighters.

Go take your cope elsewhere

I still don’t believe they hold a candle even close to the US in abilities alone

You clearly lack any form of knowledge on Chinese fighters such as the J-20 and J-16 series of aircraft, put the fries in the bag 🙏.

You mean the I wanna be a F-22 when I grow up and the We put better composite materials in our plane like the MiG-29 didn’t do that in the 1970’s? I don’t think that even if they really are better fighters the sheer number/quality ratio of pilot quality and fighter quality on new and very unproven designs, not to mention the massive tactical advantage of stealth bombers like the B-2 and B-1.

I’m sorry, but using Gen-alpha slang on a forum of mostly adult males is kinda insane

It doesn’t matter what you think, just look at whether the United States is as brutal as it did to China in the past to know if the United States thinks China is their adversary. If you think that China is still a country full of J-7s and ZTZ59s, then I am satisfied, which means that there is another American who is stubborn and refuses to admit reality. As long as there are a little more people like you in the Pentagon, we can be stronger. Please spread the word that China is a country composed of backward weapons!

The number of F-15EX is not even as large as the number of 055 destroyers, laugh at me. It’s actually quite good to immerse yourself in the past, and the hollowing out and monopoly of a country’s industry will also produce these problems in the United States.

J-20 like all stealth fighters has electro optical targeting system and IR search and track so it doesn’t necessarily have to turn its radar on, advanced IRST and EOTS systems can already detect bearing range and altitude to within a high enough degree of accuracy to guide a medium range missile on to target well enough for it to go pitbull and guide itself. Stealth aircraft are all designed to be highly capable even without the use of radar

Shall we just assume for arguments sake that the J-20 is in fact stealthy, radar cross sections are not known but the Chinese have a huge military budget, if any single nation other than the US has the funding to design a stealth aircraft it would be the Chinese

They aren’t though, they have jets like the J-10 and J-11, and tanks like the ZTZ-96 and MBT-2000, I don’t get what you mean, they have other equipment, but not too long ago, majority of the fleet was aging.

There are eight 055’s, correct?

The 14th is already under construction, and the 9th to 11th are already undergoing outfitting work.

If you mean the ones that can be put into operation, then it is indeed 8 ships.

I believe that’s the same number of EX’s currently working as well. It’s either 4 or 8, I’d have to look.

True, there are counters too it, as well as Modern MAWS.

Most likely, other than the fact the Russians want a piece of action with the Su-57

That is true, though depending on engagement range it may be too little too late there will always be some kind if warning of attack, the goal with stealth is to delay that as long as possible but as with all things stealth isn’t unbeatable

I do think the SU-57 gets an unfair reputation as most of what we see is pre production models on account of the real ones being at war and all, but Russian manufacturing just isn’t cut out for it really, IDK how many they supposedly have but it’s low double digits at most compared to ~200 F-22, ~300 J-20, and ~1000 F-35.

I’d take a J-20 over and SU-57 if I had the choice but I don’t know much about either with both being highly secretve
