Where does gaijin got the info about LDIRCM?

I been making some researchs and then a bug report about ldircm countering Imaging infrared and Electro optical missiles (aim9x, spikes, etc) and got denied.

All the general information says ldircm its only capable to blind IR missile, and none says about IIR or EO. So where its gaijin getting its info to stand their posture? Also the amout of W the laser emitts its confidential IRL.

Honestly they probably just made it up lol. It seems like an addition to the game where they just kind of blanketed the affect it has on missiles across the board without really looking at it on a case by case basis kind of like they did with missile changes. I still remember people having to make tons of bug reports telling Gajin that a missile designed to be fired from the prone probably doesn’t drop when it comes out the barrel because of you know the implications.

Gaijin doesn’t state sources. I’m still waiting for that full Kh-38MT document.

And the LDIRCM was rushed. If I’m not wrong, it first appeared when the IRIS-T SLM popped up and russia had to get something to counter this

They dont have one. All information also says that they should only be able to engage one missile at a time and the MI28NMs LDIRCM for sure cant affect missiles through the helis fuselage. The whole system is literally just statpadding for China, the US and Russia

But morally bankrupt russian/chinese/us mains will look you dead in the eye and say that LDIRCM as it is now is perfectly fine, its you thats the problem :^)

This was accepted but forwaded as a suggestion. God knows when they will implement the cover zone mechanic

Yeah I already met those people.

My interpretation.

Its not based upon sources. Its based upon them doing quick and dirty implementation of both missiles and LDIRCM. IRIS-T cannot be immune to LDIRCM because its just treated like any other “IR” missile such as the Aim-9B would be and there is no code yet to seperate them (heck, I dont think they even have IIR, its just IRCCM thats on other missiles) and the LDIRCM has some crazy performance because its simply coded in the most simple way possible and will block anything that is “IR”

Which is frustrating when certain weapon systems are denied because “it cannot be implemented properly at this time” but both IIR missiles and LDIRCM are slapped together with massively ahistorical placeholder code

They get it from public places, and business contracts.
