Personally the Indonesian Sub-tree would be in multiple nations. Air would most likely be in the US tree (F-16C Block 52ID and F-15ID) but the PT Pindad Harimau (medium non-mbt) should belong to the Japanese tree (?) and the Leopard 2RI should belong to Germany.

Absolutely not china, what even drove you to thinking of that? All their equipment with a few russian exceptions comes from western and western-aligned nations. There’s not a single reason why china should get them. If they were to be added to a single nation currently in game it would probably be the US, UK, Germany or Japan since that’s where almost all of their equipment is from.
Japan France by way of the Dutch most likely. Those are really the only options since Germany and America both don’t need them and don’t have room for them, outside of an event vehicle or something. But for a subtree it would be Japan or France.
Indonesia was a former Dutch colony. The netherlands is a French Sub-TT so clearly the french TT. 😜

Probably japan if they do get ASEAN sub-tt and does make the most sense. US could get their export stuff, but I really don’t see the point other than milking the US mains for a million premiums
