Seeing as we seem to have mostly all major production MBTs that are currently employed in most ground forces around the world implemented in the game i was wondering when we might see the next big step in terms of mainly mbts.
what we currently have and what could come without much change 
Firstly, i believe gaijin could easly implement current MBTs with minor changes (eg. copy cages, better thermals or FCS in general, slightly better ammunition) as often stated tanks like the t80BVM 2022 or Leopard 2a8, Abrams Sepv3 etc.
These while adding more to a lineup wouldnt be exciting or game changing in any regard in my opinion.
Any form of modern light vehicles are also pretty easy to implement since if they are too strong, you can just put them a little higher without having to raise general BRs.
Regarding CAS correct me if I’m wrong but we are mostly done regarding effective weaponary, mainly platforms would change with more modern 4.5 or 5th gen multi-role jets. (Anti radiation missiles as stated by BVVD too, propably wont be much better than what we currently have → looking at you KH38MT
Looking at SPAA, we also almost have everything there is. Of course the S300 and Patriot system are to be implemented, but looking at current map sizes, again, it would make almost no difference since multi vehicle SPAAs we have can almost all outrange the current biggest Map borders. So this wouldn’t propably change too much of gameplay too.
What might come - Next Gen MBT prototypes and Testbeds 
Now, what I personally am really interested in are next Generation MBTs and/or prototypes such as:
KF51 (Germany, or Italy depending on customers of Rheinmetall),
Maybe the Leopard 2 A-RC 3.0 (Germany) tho Im not sure about the state of development
M1 CATTB (USA)
Abrams M1E3 (USA) this is more likely than the Abrams X i would think, Protoypes planned for this year,
in my opinion it is different enough with the Javelin Launcher to be noted here
or some Abrams X (USA) type if any prototype ever gets produced before the end of times,
EMBT (propably France and Germany),
Leclerc Evolution (France) seems similar to the EMBT
Challenger 2 ,Rheinmetall 130mm (UK, but maybe germany since they only used the Chally chassis as a test bed for the gun i believe),
Type 100 respectively ZTZ-100主战坦克, (China) calibre downgrade even but advanced electronics and a crewless turret nontheless
Now for USSR, there are many different ones that all fit into this general category of future mbt:
Obyekt 195 (USSR, Passed to Devs 2 years ago), this would propably be the most sophisticated MBT ever for Russia or the game in general
Object 477 (USSR, also passed to the Devs) similar to the 195 but still key differences
T-14 Armata (USSR) i heard it will be fitted with a 152 aswell but lets just stick with the confirmed 125mm for now
Here are some that could be added but wouldnt be revolutionary, similar to the Obj. 292:
Panzer 87-140 (swiss → Germany) 2a4 with a 140mm
Leclerc T4, Terminateur (France) Leclerc with a 140mm
Concluding
Seeing there are plenty MBTs for almost every nation AND we got the last true Top BR mbts over 2 years ago i was wondering what you guys opinion is on when and if ever these tanks should be added to the game as it stands now. I primarily think these tanks would make a difference because of better much better reload and pen (autoloaders for NATO tanks wow!) and crewless turrets would surely change up the gameplay a lot, also most Russian MBTs prototypes I listed would have a 2a42 cannon as such on the BMP2, so they could balance their longer 152mm reload times with 30mm APFSDS spam, how fun :)
Looking at Japan and Sweden, the questions stands if gaijin is willing to let them fall behind in terms of top tier tanks since they dont seem to have any notible next gen mbt projects, or if every nation needs to hold back their stuff because some cannot reach that level of tank.
Im sure i made some mistakes regarding specifications on the MBTs and on many i am unsure wether they are Tech Demonstrators or actual tested Prototypes since this is my very fist Forum entry.
Let me know your assumptions on when these things could come and if you have any more tank suggestions let me know!
