MB-326K: This could get an attacker spawn. Depending on armament, a range of BR options. Similar to F-84B or G. So 7.0-8.0 depending on armament.
MB-339K: Maybe similar to A-4. Depending on armament anything from 8.0 to 9.3 (if really good AAM’s)
AS.211: Comparable to the Strikemaster Mk.88. A great option for 6.3/6.7 aircraft.
M-345: Very similar to SK60B. So 7.0 depending on armament.
M-346FA: Very Modern. This would be around 10.0 depending on what armament given.
As another option, the T-33A (some were built with two .50cals and had two hardpoints for ordnance which could include gunpods). I only say this because this would slot in around 7.0 and could definitely be given to many nations that could use it.
*all BR’s for RB
P.S. Don’t @ me about the lightweight gun armaments. We have the Strikemaster AND gunpods are a thing.
Why NONE of these are in the game is beyond me. Italy needs all of them to fill in missing BR’s and add more Italy to the Italian tree. And Cold War in general is underdeveloped in game compared to top tier or World War II.
I’m also patiently waiting, exactly a year ago we received the AMX which was an amazing addition… Hopefully we get to see something cool this time around.
I have hope that many of those planes will be added. I just makes sense as they will add the final option with the Eurofighter soon. I think the Cold War era is ripe for growth even those some of these jets aren’t cold war, they will come in in some low density BR’s that match that time.
Italy is so far the most important tech tree in-game with a lot of vehicles to give to the game being Italian or not. Hopefully at some future this scenario changes and maybe Italy becomes the first with large numbers of vehicles from multiple nations.
That’s criminal that we don’t have any Italian advanced trainers, especially Aermacchi.
My MB-339A suggestion has passed to devs twice btw… Unfortunately we are rarely getting models which aren’t used by other nations in game, although knowing that Aermacchi export was quite successful, there is still a hope to get at least some variants this decade.
PS the same can be said about Caproni WW2 planes.
