Typhoon cant DL 8 ARHM based on the dev and it can only carry 6. (Currently)
US will still have F-15E with 8 Aim120s and equal/slightly inferior performance to the Typhoon.
Will it be good of course, will it be broken? I dont think so

Bvr the F-15 will prolly still be better
Well, Germany didn’t have 13.7 for half a year, but absolutely everyone had 13.7 at least 1 plane, and some had 2-3 13.7
Inboard pylon never was spotted with MRAAM on actual aircraft
A Eurofighter, armed only with its cannon, in the current state of the game, can bring an F-16 Block 50 armed with six AMRAAMs to its knees, relying solely on countermeasures and effective defensive maneuvers. 👍
It would run out of countermeasures.
I can defeat 10 missiles with 40 medium countermeasures, imagine with 200
Nah not really, unless it’s an AESA F-16 it’s still a 4 gen airframe.
F-15 in-game are all 4th gen too, they don’t have any of the upgrades that would qualify them as 4.5
i saw him do just that in Su-27 and F-15, just the thought of him using EFT scares the hell out of me…
Assuming the gods of multipathing don’t favor you. You will have to merge with the F-16C going sideways while notching, which is a pain to flare aim9m’s
Multipathing is used in rare exceptions and during the final stages of engagements. If you’ve reached that point, it’s likely because you’re going to be taken down anyway.
I’m talking about your scenario where clean EF vs F-16C with missiles. I don’t think it’s that easy to survive if the F-16 has a couple of aim120 to force you to notch in the merge and 1 aim9m to finish the business.
Could work maybe if you spam flares really fast before merging to avoid a good IR seeker lock and chaff too to avoid IR seeker radar slaving
Well, everything is conditional and based on assumptions. At least for me, most of the time, the 9M is an easy missile to deal with if you can predict its launch, especially if you know how to manipulate trajectories and aspects.
I’ll be honest, in a vacuum I can deal with them. But on a normal match you have multiple things to worry about and a side aspect aim9-m launch usually results in me going to hangar. When I’m the one launching them from side aspects it’s a guaranteed kill every time if within range but that’s against casuals.
Then I’m always jumping between planes and each has different flare patterns and it’s hard to remember what to do in every aspect in the heat of the moment. Not long ago I died to a frontal high aspect aim9-L in the F1 because my flares were going under the fuselage and the aim9-L couldn’t even see them lol
In that scenario, even if the EF pilot would survive the aim9-m from side aspect, he would start the dogfight with an F-16 in lag pursuit on his six. I would rather be in the F-16C in that situation.
Just like Germany, Italy and Japan were expected to handle top tier for years.
Imean the F-16C is an upgrade from arround 2005 (irl it uses the aim9x and later versions of the amram)
Japan will mostlikely get their turn with the F-2
That is why I said “were”. Some of them are now getting their moment to shine for the first time in 12 years and we instantly hear whining, because the US and Russia, which have been dominating throughout the entire history of this game will lose their edge for once.
