when you get sneaked up on by an asu 57, that has a literal lawn mower engine, cant hear it sneaking up behind you within 50 meters, you got a problem gaijinboo. fix the engine sounds, please. time to disprove to the community how incompetent you are.

It engine is literally as loud as the abrams.
The ASU also has a very distinctive engine sound so you know to look in tall grass and behind small obstacles.
The fact that ASU-57s can sneak up on people is to me a sign that the game is working well. Let us know when you get ambushed by a Jagtiger or a Churchill gun carrier so we can poke fun at you for being deaf and blind.

Isnt this not even a sound issue, and related to the weird way the game renders players? Ie you cant hear someone if they arent scouted and you or no one on you team can see them?
Just seems like an overly heavy handed response to cheaters that ultimately doesnt matter and just cripples every legit player. All this really stops is rage hacking which 100% will get you reported and banned, something like a vidar sitting in spawn killing everyone.
Also as if light tanks needed anymore they have the whole enemy team rendered 24/7 as long as they have a drone up.
