When will you finally decompress naval ? You really think absolute top battleships against 6.0 are fair?

Nothing to add here, naval is full uptier every game when you play 6.0 and battleships are ruining the game

Nothing changed at this point since 2019, you will even fight at 4.7 as DD against CL, CC and so on, specially you get maps where a Cold War cruiser shoots your crew down behind the hills from spawn to spawn. It’s and will stay if nothing change a rock paper scissors modus.

406mm guns should have their own 7.3 BR as well as some WW2 battlecruisers

exactly my point. a tiny increase in BR would be enough…

+1 to that,

i have suffered in my shitty 6.3 old german Dreadnaught Battleships against a spam of USS Alaskas and Kronstadt.

But now i am 7.0 and reek absolute havok on the seas with the Scharnhorst, slapping around heavy cruisers and especially british ww1 battleships, and sometimes even feel sorry for it.

The spread in technology between 6.3 and 7.0 is to high, decrompression needed.

Blame air. We need air to be decompressed all the way down first and then naval can decompress as well (dont ask me why, but I reckon that is the problem)

Moving the top 7.0 BBs up to about 8.0 and then spreading the rest out better would help some but not all. A few heavy cruisers (and even a few light cruisers) that should probably move up as well and could still see the same ships.

This also applies to the whole coastal tree of every nation aswell by the way. As soon as you reach 2.7 the matches just break completly, total mess.

Poorly armored PT boats against fat things like the Drache that blast you with double 8.8’s and are basically unkillable, and cold war boats that run rampant with auto loaded 75mm and 76mm cannons. Boats with rocket launchers that instantly hull break you.

Absolutely chaotic. And add to that the smartass destroyer players (because of 2.7 you can see 3.7 and they have destroyers) that think it is fun to drive into the shallow waters where the PT boats are and blast them with 4inch guns and 12,8cm time delay HE shells.

What I find weird is none of the battleships are modern and the dreadnaughts did see the in WW2 so it is historically accurate

Also BB and DB are fine if they fight and plus for some reason American Battelships can’t hit worth shit.

Also to a reply about PTs sinking BBs in what world has that every happened they can not hurt them so why complain about just stick to what you can kill and let the sluggers slug it out.

Got picture proof?

yeah but it took 3 hours for it to sink

It sunk solely because the pumps where inadequate to handle the water being taken on

During this event I have noticed full 7.0 matches having 14 players on each team with 7.0 ships and the rest with 6.7 or so (bots or players). When a player leaves after dying once, it quickly gets the match out of whack, though. Matches full of 7.0 tubs… that’s a good time to pull out Japanese cruisers with torpedoes (but you probably just get a lower BR match now).

When I play 5.0 US destroyers with 9.15 km torpedo range, about 70+% of my matches are uptiers to 5.7. Last night I was getting also many full uptiers to 6.0… with just 6 people on the team and the enemy being all 5.7-6.0 cruisers. I just leave these matches in disgust.
Way too many matches are way too unbalanced with constant steamroll losses that I get for extended periods of time (sometimes lasting for 5+ days, just like I had it until the night before). I noticed I tend to get these right after having a very good game (something like 12+ kills), then the suck starts. You literally get punished for doing well. Also, when I get 1-2 place (even on a losing team), the next match is an Encounter uptier match. I don’t see a point of playing these with short range torpedoes as well. These are just a waste of time for me.

About the uptiers and compression, we really need to make the BR spread to 0.7 and have as close to equal each uptier amount. Optionally, if they made the BR spread 0.2, then you could have 0.8 BR spread matches. This would also allow for some decompression already without increasing BR for battleships.

Edit: Just noticed this is for the Realistic battles section, I was describing Arcade here.

Agreed, I get matched with fewer battleships on my team when its an uptier, which is almost always, and the teammates are so bad its incredible. I almost always end up with highest score on my 6.0 cruiser while the battleships have like 1k after 20 minutes. Its funny irony, ppl play “OP” ships with BIGG guns and perform way worse than classic 6inch slinger cruiser…

Just made a little post about all of this bs I’ve been constantly facing. It’s just a waste of time at this point. Once again, a swarm of 7.0 battleships (15-16x 7.0) on each team. Got disconnected and lost a 500% RP booster. My German battleship got ammo racked with a 152 mm SAP round (ranging shot) from a Japanese Fuso. Funny how easily I die from them every time.
All my 5.0 destroyer games are almost all 5.7-6.0 BR uptiers, as mentioned before. I’m living in an uptier hell (thanks gaijin).

The last 8 days (5 days of suck, then 1 ok day and then the last 3 days of total suck again) were some of the dumbest stearoll matches you could see. It’s just never-ending suck. You come back the next day and it’s the same suck, but even worse. Was getting like 25% win rate for the day. Just yesterday I played for 3 hours and I couldn’t get an easy task done because I couldn’t get a win while dying unusually high due to the steamrolls with no hope for a win, no matter what you did. What a total waste of time and what a joke this game has become. 12 years in and they have failed to implement a proper match maker.
Btw, 10 days ago my win rate for the month was close to 70%, now it’s 53%. This should tell you everything how bad it was. This game punishes you for doing well. Fricken EQUITY in action. Sick of this bs.
