New automated damage control system sounds just as bad if not worse than the last “automatic” changes they made to Navy. Especially if they yet again don’t give us the choice between automatic and manual.
A dev (moderator? Someone with some sort of power) said we could stick to the current system. I just don’t remember the specific thread in the forums.
As for the current aiming; it’s [supposed] to increase ranged accuracy but anyone with a functioning brainstem can also abuse the new aiming system to be borderline untouchable past 10km in CLs and even some CAs.
It isn’t so bad against battleships but throttle evading is pretty damn annoying.
It must have been hard to see that message, I failed to notice it sorry.
Oh joy.
Sounds like a mindless clicker - they might as well make it a 100% idle game
More people would “play” it.
I may have misinterpreted the message as I came across it again.
Specifically; it wasn’t entirely a yes or no, just that we could ‘opt out’. The new damage control change - bluntly put - is nothing short of below room temperature intelligence.
It’s a genuinely baffling system that shouldn’t have [ever] been thought up and it will genuinely kill interest in Naval for me.
Probably why some speculated it was deliberate.
Kill it off so you don’t have to allocate resources to it.
Which makes no sense if they’re adding new ships alongside it.
Recycling Premium Vehicles and Packages will always be main priority as it’s a quick cash grab with minimal work input.
