Just a question since I really want to buy it. I don’t want to grind the Japanese TT and just want to experience the Zero’s turn fighting capabilities.
Not sure, personally though I wouldn’t bother with it since it’s not a great plane (it can turn, but that’s it) also no point in grinding America with a Japanese plane. It probably wouldn’t take too long to get in the Japan tech tree without paying anyway
It’s nice that the USA Zero is rank 3 (so eligible for more event/task stuff), but as @Terminated_800 mentioned it won’t take long to get the same Zero in Japan as the equivalent one is rank 2 there. Plus then you get the option of better Zeros in Rank 3 and super-fun things like J2M2 and Ki-84’s are cool… and the early ki-61 and ki-44… ki-100… lots of good stuff in Japan actually.
For the price of the USA Zero, just get premium time and you’ll be at the first Zeroes within 10 games.
I don’t intend to grind the US Air TT with it since Im already using the American spitfire for that. I just want a zero in american markings honestly for collecting purposes and satisfying my “what-if” scenarios if the A6M was an American plane.
I think I’ll just grind the Zero in the Jap tree while waiting for the American Zero to come back just to get used on how I could play with it.
best guess is when ever the anniversary of the Zeros 1st flight is, most premium versions of planes come back for that.
Edit: looks like that’s April 1st, but it doesn’t look like it happened this year. Maybe for it’s introduction into service on July 1
I see. I’ll be sure to keep my eye out. Thank you for telling me
Make sure to have fun in the ki-27 and it’s 10 second turn time…insane turn fighter… although just little guns… (but you’ll need some crew xp in g-force/stamina)
