also it prob has very similar EW to the F35 but the general stealth is prob worse since it isn’t built mainly for stealth

Best radar relates to overall capability in context of the game, and power is just not relevant compared to gimbal limit (which the raven has a lot of) and scan rate/rarget retention.
F-15s won’t be outperforming a Gripen in anything besides braindead BVR gameplay 👌
It’s the only jet I’m aware of with an inbuilt AI assistant in order to maximise sensor fusion and prioritise information for the pilot, it feeds you exactly what you need to know and when to do things (like evade or notch).
As much as you downplay it, the EW suite has been extremely successful in testing and i about as good as you can get for a jet of it’s size
The line between 5th gen and 4.5th gen is very specific. The gripen does in fact probably have better ew. Newer gen doesn’t mean better.

Yeah, more power doesn’t always mean better. I dont agree with your statement that f15 will be better in bvr combat. The better radar range isnt the deciding factor for bvr combat. As we know, the gripen e can carry 7 meteors (which they wont get,) so 7 aim 120c-5. The effective range of a missile is obviously less than the radar range. So, its fair game in a head on. However, the splashplate on the gripen radar gives it the ability to notch while maintaining lock, which is the reasons its the better in bvr.

I dont think it matters which did what first. What matters is which is the more effective.
I mean gripen e counterpart is the advanced eagle which gets 12 AMRAAMs anyways plus a similar defensive suite (BOL + 360 cms and maws+ew)
Comparing it to a normal f15a/c/e is dumb because by the time gripen e was flying so were the advanced eagles
Against Meteors it’s no debate, Gripen wins, but if both aircraft had the C-5 it’s going to swing in the eagle’s favour because of speed

I don’t think epawws is the same, I’m saying they both get ew systems. And id bet advanced eagles ones are better considering how much more powerful it is
