When will the destructive trio be added to the game?

I’m not one to ‘underestimate’, that being the reason I’m a massive fan of Chinese and Israeli tech, however I know a flawed project when I see it, and all the analysis suggests that the Armata is little superior to a modern BVM at best, the main improvements being transmission and crew ‘biome’ in the hull paired with an unmanned turret.

On the contrary it has little to no Turret armour besides the ERA on the composite screens, a problematic round, dubious electronics, limited production (same as Su-57) and the lack of combat deployment during an active conflict just screams that corners were cut and that it, in no way, is equivalent to the Eurosatory display MBTs such as EMBT and KF51

They are still fully functional demonstrators.
With the KF51 having gotten 2 buyersbwuth hungary and italy.

Initialy they are getting kf51 autoloaded 120mm on a Büffel.
The demonstrator would go to germany with 130mm and a leopard chassis.
We already have multiple demonstrator in the game

EMBT for Franch and Germany too (coming with 130mm and 140mm)

Only exists in 140mm currently

I Don’t think the tank needs much turret protection… There is no ammo there to explode most of the time, the crew is in the hull etc… The KF51 is quite problematic too as I understand, they consider just equipping it with a 120 mm gun to simplify things…

Kf51 autoloader is in the back of the turret together with storage. Dm63 onwards is inert and doesnt explode when hit.

For all sense and purposes the kf51 of italy/hungary is a slightly lighter leopard with autoloader thats it pretty much

Replace the T-14 with the North Korean Cheonma 2

Realistically, we have seen that Russian MBTs tend to be equipped with a full ammunition load, meaning there would be ammo in the turret. If that is frontally hit, most likely, it would cause the ammo in the carousel to also cook off and explode. And if it does, that vehicle won’t be usable. Even if the crew survives, the vehicle will most likely be out of a turret and the electronics or fiber optics or whatever connects the control systems to the power pack will most likely be melted.

Now in War Thunder it’s less of an issue, as you can choose to not have any ammo there. But the no armor on the turret still means you are very venerable to auto-cannons, strafing runs, helicopter rockets, artillery, pretty much anything that you would be protected against in a normal MBT any with turret armor of some sort. And this would then nock out the gun, probably autoloader, and maybe some electronics and probably the APS.

If the problem is that serious, you can trust the Russians will fix it soon. The only real big drawback of Rssian/Soviet engineering is them not caring about the crew whatsoever. They are dictators, not idiots.

Literaly cant be fixed
One of the big reasons of the unmanned turret is being less armored to make the whole tank lighter again.

You cant armor the turret more without increasing weight

It doesn’t need to deflect DM53, just autocannons. Chemical rounds of any type are supposed to be shot down by the APS.

Will they really? With how the T-14 program is going as of now, would it even be worth it for them to add more armor onto it and complicate the vehicle even more than needed? They are struggling to even produce the vehicle as on now, and are focusing much more on the T-90M obr. 2024 as well as restarting production of the T-80BVM (They may have gotten it going again already, someone tell me if they have). With how tank combat works these days, I highly doubt they will add more armor to the turret.

Autocannons can only be countered trough thicker armor.
APS as well as ERA at one point will be overhandled by autocannons at one point and used up. The needed armor on the turret is not possible since it defeats the main purpose of the tank

Does people on here believing KF51 and Abrams-X have turret composite armour while manufacturer saids they doesn’t.

In that regard please show those sources u say as well

For Abrams X. It’s ‘unmanned turret’ of ‘technological demonstrator’ which never means to be in real service, so don’t need of armor for vehicle.

Well maybe I could remember better source if needed but not for now.

For KF51 the problem was severe as when it originally comes, it comes with manned turret and has to be around 50 tons with enormous size of turret and heavy 130 mm gun, so rather depend on composite armour, KF51 puts its defense mostly on APS and make base armour mostly steel.

And while KF51 ‘technological demonstrator’ all we’ve seen through used Leopard 2A4 as a hull base, there’s not much weight left for turret. Maybe on production version of Hungary and Italy could use lighter hull than Leopard 2A4, but that would also mean ‘heavily protected armour’ part of both hull and turret would be reduced from old Leopard 2 to keep 50 tons.

I was going on to assume the:

Leo 2A4-140

Leclerc-140 ‘Terminator’

Abrams-M1 Thumper

And Russia’s already existent:

Obj. 292

Dont realy care or now enough about the abrams X.

But about the kf51. Thats only assumpitions of you. The weight is supposed to get reduced for more mobility. But that doesnt make the turret completly out of steel. It says mostly out of steel because composites are still used but to a lesser degree

It uses polyvalent add on armour together with the aps systems

While the aps is a future thing the passive armor is already part of it.

Kf51 as a tech demonstrator id supoosed to be a first strike vehicle rather either way

Ignoring that the equivalent to the T-14 would be the Leopard 2 Arc 3.0 either way

Abrams X isn’t even really a ‘hard hitter’

Yeah, the secondary independent stabilized 30mm XM914 gun is very nice, I love high caliber secondary/coaxials like MBT2000 and T72M2 Moderna, but an extra 30mm autogun doesn’t really make it a ‘destructive’ vehicles compared to the M1 Thumper.

what you uploaded is ‘proposal’ for future production KF51 , not for KF51 technological demonstrator currently showed.
Actually we have to wait for post-2027 to see ‘real’ KF51
