When will the airports in land battle history actually have usable AA? The current airport AA is just a few guns, barely any threat. Anyone can just roll over the airport. Some people even like purely going for air superiority to hit the enemy airport, and nobody even talks about it. Right now, even if the I-15 comes, it can get taken out by the airport’s SU-30.
Let’s not even talk about changing to something like ITO-90 or Roland. At least we could deploy the Arrow 10 and Hornet, right? A 4-6 km air defense zone would be about right. And some airports are really close to the combat zone—less than 20 km, some even less than 15 km. Most players’ AA has a range of 18-20 km, so a lot of airports are completely within air defense coverage, and some airports are directly exposed to the ground battlefield. This really needs to be fixed.
