since you seem to know more than us can you send a photo of the strv 123 so we can send it to gaijin so they can get a model for it? or are you just gonna tell them its basically a 2a7? lol
Backup vehicles are sufficient — quantity isn’t as important as quality. With the Leopard 2 being nerfed, none of Sweden’s current MBTs are better than the L2A7.Sweden’s top-tier helis and AA are also useless. And in the next version, Sweden doesn’t even have a single aircraft with both AESA and anti-radiation missile capability… I’m not complaining that Sweden is weak, but barely anyone plays Sweden at top tier right now.

Strv122s literally have more armor than 2A7 cause Gaijin believe 1990s armor is stronger than 2023 one. And you have 3 of such Leos,meanwhile if you die in 2A7,you have way worse 2A6 and even more paper 2A5 to spawn. Gripen C and E exist still as great CAS platforms with great FM and SPICE. Meanwhile Germany stuck with EFT with Brimstones or Tornados that are useless. Sure IRIS-T is ok. Sweden having their baby version in Elde. Helis ok,they have Apache thats useless,but UHT with its slow PARSes aint any better nowadays compared to LMUR/JAGMR/CM502 slingers
The armor composition of the Leopard has not changed in any significant way since the 2A5 rolled out, so yes, a 1990 tank gonna have roughly the same protection as a 2023 one as the main upgrades done over the past 20 years were not armor. The only thing that changed is that Germany was finally able to afford to install a bit more armor on their hulls with the Leo 2A7V (pretty sure the original Leo 2A7 still used the non up-armored hull due to the Bundeswehr lacking the funds at the time), but the 2A7V still uses the same Composite screen as the Strv 122s. If Sweden would get a Strv 123, then Germany most likely would also get Leo 2A7A1 and/or Leo 2A8 at the same time anyway so it really wouldnt be a big deal (Also Leopard 2A6 is perfectly fine+backups exist too. You rarely will need more than 3 spawns before the match is over anyway).

Except 2A7 uses D-tech unlike 2A5/6 that uses C-tech. And it uses MEXAS addon armor. Problem is,2A7 have stronger armor with the D-tech+MEXAS than Strv122 with C-tech and AMAP. But ig its not true. 122 have more than 100 mm stronger KE protection than 2A7V atm. In reality 2A7 should have stronger armor than it have in the game atm.
And there is no way you compare 2A6 to 122s. A paper 2A6 vs uparmored 122s with protection exceeding 2A7.

I didnt compare it, I simply said the 2A6 is perfectly fine to play, which it is.
Sorry but Sweden is one of the last nations that should be receiving new top tier MBTs.
They need +100 top tier SPAAs from other nordic countries
