It means your wish may be granted but with some unintented consequences
Genuine question: where is russia artificially gimped?
Air, primarily.
Their Flankers (The SU-27s) and the base R-77 are not on a great modeling spot.
More like air solely?
I guess? I wouldn’t make absolute statements.
If you think so, sure.
Russians have much trollier armor requiring aiming for weak spots and are way harder to one shot hull down
F-15C release
F-15E release
f-16C irccm meta introduction.
Uhhh???
I mean im happy to be proven wrong but atm it very much looks like realistic implementation is optional when russian competetiveness is in danger
Certain mains in a nutshell
Like I said, I personally wouldn’t make absolute statements.
Yours might be true, and I’d be inclined to believe so; I haven’t heard of many poor modeling issues @ top tier for Russian vehicles, so
Yeah.
(you tagged me wrong so it was just lucky i saw this)
It’s from a movie, basically means that if your wish is granted it will come at a heavy cost (often ironic to your original wish). Like for example if you wish to be rich you will get your wealth in a currency you can’t use.
I’ve had topics removed for less than that for referencing a phrase, but that’s okay, thanks for explaining the word.
English is not my native language.
Funny you should mention that.
People often repeat this same argument, hence why I took the time to record every battle I played few a few days.
I then compiled each and every shot I took against a Russian/Soviet MBT and compiled the data here:
For a visual representation of where the shots landed I took a screenshot of each X-Ray camera:
In summary: Russian/Soviet MBT’s die just like any other MBT, in fact, their exposed ammunition stowage, 3 crew maximum and cramped interior leave them with some of the lowest survivability of any top-tier MBT.
I did not encounter a single instance in 60 shots where the vehicle in question suffered less damage than what would be expected, I also did not encounter a single instance of ammunition being struck directly but not being detonated.
That’s not to say it never happens, merely that the frequency of it happening is largely overblown.
As I’ve always suspected, the people who complain in a similar way you’re doing are often players with questionable aim and/or limited knowledge of the various weakspots.
Bravo, great representation

The lowest survival rate against an AGM that would destroy any NATO MBT.
You see the reality during the games, you see that the vehicles survive certain circumstances that no other vehicle would survive. And you want to keep them with the excuse that they are “historically” correct in relation to documents that are not at all reliable, coming from nations that are more closed than any other and that engage in “damage control” regarding their weapons in order to promote propaganda about “the best modern vehicles in the West.”
You bring statistics, I bring actual matches that have taken place. It’s no use going to the hangar and doing shooting simulations, it’s no use showing weaknesses in the hangar if they don’t work during the match, and if they do work, they don’t OBLITERATE a vehicle with 3 crew members.
I went back to playing with Russia today, and I get no less than 4 to 12 kills per match with MBTs and jets with their powerful KH-29TD air-to-surface missiles.
And guess what? All I did was press W without having to think about angling or staying in strategic positions on the map.
Do you really want to continue with this defense disguised as self-humiliation just to take the targets off the backs of your BROKEN AND UNJUST nation? Okay, go ahead, but it’s nothing more than lies that are exposed in the first match of a player using the Russian “marvel.”

If that was true then it would be reflected in the numbers, which it is not.
Because statistics are a way better indicator than anecdotal evidence is. Just because it isn’t raining where you live doesn’t mean it isn’t raining somewhere else.
anecdotal evidence, it doesn’t tell us anything really. statistics over many matches and preferably with many different players is what counts as that is also what players will on average face in matches.
