I think it’s probably about them getting a dedicated line for air or ground content.
My guess is ground will come before air, with Indonesian and Malaysian vehicles maybe even added together to complete the fifth line that Thailand already has a handful of vehicles, but no full line for.
Then air could also be sometime this year, maybe a few updates from ground, placed between Thai and Malaysian lines.
Depends what you call better. In terms of pure performance air wins because they bought the Rafale. But when it comes to what the tree needs most I’d say ground mainly because they can built functional 10.X lineups that just don’t exist yet.
Then when it comes to interesting unique vehicles both have their options, but air is mainly light modifications and a bit of added armament with very few full domestic aircraft, while ground actually has relatively significant domestic vehicle development and more significant modifications.
