Two copy paste American vehicles, neither of which are needed by the nation receiving them (ESPECIALLY Japan), and a crate with, not even copy paste but just flat out vehicles already in the game.
Japan already had not one, but THREE great 3.7 CAS options. Two of those have 2 powerful autocannons, turn very well, have great payload, are amazing in ARB aswell. One of those two was a copy paste battlepass vehicle. Wanna know what else fits that exact description? The SB2C-5. This not only is a lazy and needless addition, but it’s a massive insult and injustice that every unique American vehicle is being stripped away.
The french M46 isn’t quite as bad, but its also a massive kick in the balls that M46 is no longer exclusive to America. france doesn’t even have a 7.0 lineup (only one 7.0 tank and no 7.0 aircraft) what makes Gajin think the M46 would even be helpful for france?
The box was a unique twist for the battlepass, however now it’s clear that it’s just another excuse for Gajin to be lazymaxxing. Although it’s hard for me to complain about an opportunity to get the LVT-4/40.
Now call me crazy, but it seems like Russia is the only nation who’s been receiving good event vehicles that aren’t just copy paste within the recent years. IL-8, Kv-7, Obj 292, etc. Meanwhile other nations are getting things like, copy paste SB2C-5, copy paste M46, copy paste P-51C-10 (both China and Sweden), copy paste Tiger 2 (P), and I could go on.

Im just glad its another BP that I can ignore without feeling guilty. There has been 1 or 2 vehicles I would have loved to have gotten, but never have the time nor motivation to bother with it. So when there is nothing of value, Im glad I can simply ignore it. Personally I would prefer the BP remains a way to get variants of existing vehicles rather than being the only source of unique vehicles (like the strikemaster was for example, I still regret not grinding for that and may purchase it someday)

Personally, I believe battle pass should be for vehicle modifications that are unique enough to be its own vehicle but not a TT vehicle, e.g T7 light tank (basically an M3 Lee without the 75mm). Not only that, they should go to the nation that made them.
Battlepass most certainly should not be vehicles already in game.

Fine by me. Anything unique that is put behind an exclusitivity wall is bad imo.
Gaijin finally letting us get past event vehicles is great. Not the best implementation but a start.

Giving Imperial Japan BR’s, US planes is just pure laziness. It’s also hilariously broken for Sim with visual IFF.

While im glad it wont be another BR vehicle I miss out on because I haven’t been playing this game for a decade it is a shame that this is essentially a worthless BP to France and japan mains out there.
the Helldiver is a plane at a pretty unpopular BR for air matches and a very poor one for the japan tree
the M46 certainly has a fan in @GibM46toFrance however like other well needed tanks at certain BRs for some nations (centurion mk2 + 5/1 and Japan tiger come to mind) were condemned to be unobtainable for the huge console player base and for PC players because some of these vehicles have prices inflated beyond any means of sanity.
It may get a few more people buying a battle pass but these vehicles would have made a hell of a lot more for gaijin from being obtainable premiums over the anti-consumer model gaijin has used.
I think BPs should be limited to obscure modifications of tech tree vehicles like Churchill crocodile so they are unique without taking away from the base game.
Just look at these prices man its just nuts. the french M46 Patton will see a similar fate

Hmmm I wonder if the Cocaine Kfir C.10 will ever get that expensive.
nobody buying them at those prices which was a point I wanted to make, if it was a $30 premium or something a lot of people would buy them outmatching any income they would make on the marketplace
