For the past five years or so, the remodeling frequency for piston aircraft has been painfully slow, showing absolutely no motivation despite the current critical state of model quality. It’s hard not to wonder how much longer they plan to keep using models from the PS3 era. Flight models, especially in SB, have numerous problematic aircraft left untouched. For piston aircraft, it’s clear that remodeling existing models should take priority over adding new ones.
Simply low priority
I thought Smin1080p_WT himself created this post based on pfp lol
Not at the cost of new additions, props are already rare in updates, don’t make me see the first Caproni aircraft coming even later.
Game is about 70 dollar modern jets, top gun, fa18, maverick, su57, ace combat, wow daddy buy me jet please i want to fly like in movie too.
Fixing vital instruments would at least be nice.

Ta 152 H-1 turn & slip indicator still broken.
Turn & slip indicator is quite critical for both proper level flight AND dogfighting due to how impactful coordination is to avoiding stalls.
Apparently 109 F-1 is also bugged.
(you can see my rudder deflection and actual angle of slip on left side of screen.)
PS4* era.
And as long as possible. There’s no reason to update everything so long as cockpits are detailed and text is legible.
La-7 model is from Birds of Prey, which is the game originally made for PS3
You can take a look at it in WT, its one of the oldest models in game right now (you can even count the number of polygons)
Ta-152H also comes to mind along with the SBD-3 Dauntless, both having pretty old models
Also regarding the latter, the text in A6M Zero cockpits is illegible (or so I heard on old forums)
See my post. Turn & slip indicator not functioning properly in Ta 152 and early 109s. Turn & slip indicator is a pretty important part of the cockpit (especially in german props.)
And adding said features doesn’t require remodeling the vehicle itself. :)
Are they holding off because the cockpit, FM and textures take so damn long?
Even then, they could at least tweak BRs more often.
Some fuel gauges are well off as well and some speedometers that are clearly marked as MPH in the British tree reads knots instead.
Interestingly the Spitfire’s twin needle airspeed indicator works in Birds of Steel (PS3) but doesn’t work in WT.
