lol, I shall grind both, very reluctantly however. The superior option in mine and many others minds will be the Rafale.
Sweet, in that case, Why didnt we get Typhoon last update instead of Gripen C.
So Italy and Germany will have nothing for the next 12+ months?
They could add a Hungarian Gripen and a Swiss F-18, it depends just how cracked they think the Eurofighters FM will be, I’d expect them to drop EF, Rafale and Gripen E simultaneously though.
The Delta update
Yep, as would I. a “Delta Euro” update would be awesome. So will probably have to have F-22 and Su-57 to draw focus away from the minor nations, but heyho.
I reckon we’ll be seeing them by June. Maybe Sep
I hope they never add stealth. But a Eurodelta/Eurocanard update I think it almost mandatory. They’re regularly termed the ‘European Brothers’ but that might mean that we get powercrept by the external competitors (F-16V, F-15, SU-30 etc) the update beforehand.
I reckon we might start seeing the major nation equivalent in March. Way too much moaning from US mains about only having the F-15A
Germany has F-4F ICE for their AMRAAM carrier, and their meta Mig-29G for 12.3.
Italy has AV-8B+ for their AMRAAM carrier as well as Gripen C.
So 12.0 for Italy and Germany and a 12.3/12.7 for Italy. Vs I guess 13s for 6 months. Sounds like fun
No, F-4F ICE would be 12.7 - 13.0, not 12.0.
Its a phantom
It fires AMRAAMs and IRCCM IR missiles.
F-18 is a slower Phantom that dogfights better, yet it’ll also be 12.7 - 13.0 with AMRAAMs.
Really depends on how meta changing AMRAAMS are
Since AMRAAM will probably not be added alone, I get the impression the devs feel additional Fox 3s will be a big change.
Imagine R-27ERs that don’t give a warning when launched until they’re at most 16km away from you, down to 5km away from you before warning.
Im pretty sure 120s will give a launch warning
They don’t unless the user breaks TWS lock instantly.
well if they treated the same as aim54 it might not be that good but we will see how gajin do it
errrr… that’s a no. the one big advantage with TWS is you can “soft lock” (i.e. you can be tracking a target and they won’t receive a warning)
the first warning that a target will get of a AMRAAM shot in their direction is the nice big smoke plume from the launch, and then an active radar homing warning (the missile’s own radar)
by which point, if you haven’t been defending and it wasn’t a max range shot you’re probably doomed.
