There are no words to describe when it comes to gaijin’s mediocre match maker. I came to a conclusion that this is not an ineptitude, but deliberate nefarious design. In a course of last 2 weeks or so I already had TWO multi-day losing streaks galore. These are not just losing streaks, but games that should never ever be. The games that end up with the enemy having 90%+ tickets left while our team gets wiped out over and over again.
Any income while using premium account gets negated by these constant losing streaks. I already had multiple ships spaded (separate matches) without getting a single win. I only played some of these ships later as second when knowing we are going to win.
Right now I’m working on the top BR Japanese and it’s miserable win-wise. I have to sell my first born just to get a win. The thing is, it’s not just Japanese, but anywhere I go, except German cruisers now. Even when I played Air Arcade, 1 match was 0.7 uptier, next 2 matches were 1.0 uptier… and all of them miserable losses. Went back to Naval (after finishing up the stamp decal) and the losses follow.
As I see it now, these constant losing streaks are a total negation of my premium account. I would get more income without premium account, but with a fair match maker. All these losing streaks (that I’ve had for years and years now) force me to play longer, as I cannot finish my BP tasks. On top of that, this current Naval aim fiasco is yet another factor in nerfing my income and BP levels completed. Don’t forget that the game doesn’t count about half of your assists and often kills are counted as assists instead. At every turn we are getting punished for participating in this and there is zero feedback from gaijin as to when they get around to fix this dumpster fire.
Funny thing is, the only winners right now are mass torpedo slingers, as you cannot shoot from behind a rock in your slow ship, so you are forced to be in the open ocean. Yeah, very fun when your ship is stock and a magnet for torpedoes.
As the game stands right now, I will not be purchasing any more Battle Passes. My premium expires in 65 days and I have zero desire to purchase more in May when it goes on sale.
Congrats gaijin, you have killed any smidgen of tolerance I had left for this game. gg

Also not spending money cause enemy teams were more skilled is silly…

Not had any such issue, at least not in NRB.
Naval being all vs all, means that you dont really need to worry about team comps too much. Used to be a major problem at top tier where if one team had 4 Scharnhorsts and the other had none, the team with the Scharns would always win. But now others have soft-counters, its not quite as bad.
There is some annoyingness regarding the bots/ai player, they sometimes seem to be really good and will cap the points and others they’ll completely ignore them and it feels like matches are almost predetermined who will win without player intervention, but i’ve not got enough data to really come down either side of that at the moment.
I’ve been playing quite a bit of 5.7 Britian in HMS Belfast recently and been coming away with wins fairly consistantly. Id roughly estimate I win about 2/3 games at the moment. Top tier is a little more 50/50, but its usually a pretty close thing
I just want those guys to show up and say: “Look, that’s a skill issue not because the nation is weak,” even in areas where it actually dominated in real life.

I’ve been resilient with these losing streaks for the last 8+ years. You can see my old threads on the old forum. For example old event stages requiring 10 wins were taking me around 30 matches, stage after stage. The biggest losing streak I had was with my AD-2 where I got 22 losses and no wins when spading it in Air Arcade. Funny thing is I got to a point where I started tracking all the losses (seeing how sucky the matches were). Counted 22 losses (with screenshots to confirm), but the game stats were showing 19 losses and 0 wins, even days later.
The “not spending money” is about the sucky aim that we have right now. I have no reason to renew anything, as it stands. The amount of grind involved after the aim fiasco and the stealth income nerf as a result was the last straw for me. I may play few games here and there, but don’t see a point of getting punished any further. Gaijin has sucked all the fun out of this game long ago.

then read about EOMM, then look at your KD and position in the team. These are such modern ways to make you pay for faster progress and at the same time not get it. I hope that one day such practices will be banned by law and creators who hide such things on the server side will pay for heavy penalties. For now, it’s wishful thinking.
The only way to deal with EOMM is a 4-person, very strong squad. Playing solo is food for these mechanisms. Of course, they don’t officially exist in this game xD

These little stats don’t say everything. 8 years ago my win rate overall was 68%. Now it’s around 52%. I’ve been playing this game for more than 12 years (with some breaks). You tell me what win rate I have to get every month for the last 8 years to get down to 52% from 68% after the initial 4 years?
Was thinking about going with NRB, but I just wanted to do my BP tasks and be done with without the need for the readjustment to NRB. This game takes too much of my time as it is already. Was just coasting with my gameplay. That’s what the non-stop BPs did to my willingness to play and do these mind numbing tasks.
Ah. I never bother with BP tasks.
I kinda regret not going for 1 or 2 vehicles like the Strikemaster or Gay Archer, but only slightly. I tend to just ignore the BP and events and just play the game when I want. Far less stressful most of the time.
I did all the BPs except 2.5 of them. I purchased the missing levels to get to Level 80 for that 0.5, as it was the Elefant. One of the BPs, that I got to around Level 105, I didn’t collect around 40 levels (except the free ones, including the loading screen), as I got sick. Without a warning (back then) I lost the Soviet tank, these 40 levels and a free WB store vehicle as a result. Gaijin was kind enough to take it away from me, even though I completed the levels and paid for the BP. I was told that there is nothing they can do about it. How is that legal? Later on they started automatically activating these levels to your account, if you didn’t collect it before the end of the BP, as there were multiple people having the same problems as me before. Now that tank costs more than $50. I have the loading screen, but no tank. No compensation whatsoever, just “too bad, so sad.”
7 matches… 2 wins today. That’s 2 wins and 5 losses. This is not just some one time thing, but a daily occurence. That’s a 28.56% win rate. It beats the 3 days that I played a lot and didn’t get any wins at all recently, but this looks to be too deliberate to occur on a daily basis all these years. No, I’m not buying any stinkin’ premium time to ease the pain anymore. This game is not worth it.
Did I get “The Battle” special task done tonight? Of course not, as I needed 2000 points AND 2 WINS at the same time. All of this is just an unbelievable waste of time. smh
