Most of the “gaijin moments” can be easily fixed if Gaijin just dedicate some time to fix two of the most infamous additions in this game. Volumetrics and Overpressure.
Airfield defensive AA shows the type of AA you die to. For example, i learned that airfield AA in 8.3 is a fucking roland.
once my IS-3 was overpressured by T29’s APCBC without pen my cannon armor and then i never believe overpressure is a realistic mechanism
My best moment was when four (4) consecutive 20pdr shots from my FV4202 disappeared into the weak spots on the front of an IS-2 at point blank. 10m away, shooting the weak spots… Not Shell Shattered, not a non-pen, not even just no damage just four shells gone. I was laughing my head off the whole time!
UFP is upper front plate, which is a kill shot on the abrams because it ricochetes any small caliber rounds into the horizontal drive resulting in the crew eating everything that hits the UFP.
Not only that but you said “30 mm shells to the front.”
You didn’t say anything about a UFP.

Large parts of UFP won’t ricochet rounds into the turret ring.
I got killed by an ostwind frontally just like that in the conquer
Right, sorry I’ll be more specific since I really did just generalize it. What I mean was when a geopard sees you and starts spraying you, you’re going to be a in a rough way because of the shear amount of ammo that is being sprayed at you. While most rounds won’t do anything it only takes three or four rounds penetrating to completely disable you. Which is why I generalized it. Even Pz lVs can kill the abrams like that ( experience xD ).

Non-penning the front on KV-1/2’s with round that have 150-200mm of pen, not even rarely, like, consistently.
Non-penning road wheels/ricochet off road wheels, bouncing HEAT/HE/ATGM’s.
Dying to someone I can’t even visibly see, not even arcing the shot either.
Crew members taking entire 75mm+ APHE shells to the face and turning mildly orange.
