eurofighter is pretty much a much better f15e right now
f15e slightly out accelerates it at certain speeds and has more options with its missile load but EFT has much better turning capability allowing it to more easily notch/evade missiles and recommit which makes it significantly better for BVR and better turning also makes it much better at close range

I didnt know ravioli, su-30, or EFT were in the US tech tree; or that they were all getting buffed this update
That’s why I mentioned no sane F-15E user is going at close range, I know the F-15E doesn’t have a good flying performance compared to other lighter fighters at battle rating 14.0.
Then if you don’t see, any problem with this addition and I’m neutral as this doesn’t affect myself, guess is wait and see how the community will react if it makes into the Live version.
the issue is there isnt really a way to stay at longer range, all matches eventually evolve into close range

Absolutely this
The advantage US aircraft have in war thunder is BVR combat but the way top tier WT plays does not allow for it to matter as much as it should and honestly a EFT is just a better F-15E at this point
defending against fox 3 missiles in WT is too easy compared to other sims like DCS/BMS/VTOLVR and especially IRL and it negates the entire BVR advantage US aircraft have because of it which forces them to get close and end up dying because of it
Adding the Aim-120C will not fix this its adding a longer range missile without fixing the flaws that make the A/B insufficient because range is not the issue currently
The problem is USAF relies too heavily on BVR IRL which is perfectly fine IRL but in war thunder the issues quickly show up from that in that most of our jets just cannot dogfight compared to its adversaries
IRL upgrades to these aircraft focus on just improving the BVR aspect since thats mostly just what matters to them IRL while in game if we got these upgrades it would not really change anything at all just because of how war thunder works
TLDR
USAF Doctrine relies heavily on BVR combat and it shows in game as lower performance in general despite a BVR advantage
