Brits do have some good stuff in some brs like Fox, Chieftain MK10 and the FV4030. Since the spam is over we start seeing more and more 4030 players who figured out how to play it, this thing is crazy annoying to fight against, the turret is almost as tough as the Stillbrew and it has 5 second reload timer, penning the hull often doesn’t prevent the vehicle from return fire, only time I was able to kill it was stealth kill.
I just recently discovered that Track Rapier is solid shot missiles
Cause when you create a new thread poeple say that there’s an existing thread about it lol, nobody’s ever happy in here lol.
What the fuck?
They basically didnt model any of the fragmentation in the Rapier missile and gave it a 4m Fuze, so with its 500g explosive mass it does literally nothing against anything.
oh lol…
Classic Gaijin!
You clearly haven’t been using hesh then.
hesh is on paper and irl the best anti armour round, in game you can hit a panther mantlet with 183mm hesh and do nothing, if you hit the upper front plate, an angled surface, literally what hesh is designed to counter, it destroys both tracks and nothing else. Hit the engine deck of a tam with 105mm, doesn’t overpressure, literally made the engine yellow lmao. hesh is incomprehensibly broken right now, and there is literally no argument against this.
That guy always has the weirdest takes in here.
can you imagine if gaijin did an fps, dudes got to the door and try to breach it with c4 and nothing would happen?
I think another massive feature of Hesh IRL is that its reliable that it will detonate and cause damage,
E.g
If a CR2 shoots a T80 in the UFP with hesh, even if it doesnt penetrate the tank, which it likely wouldn’t, It would still cause massive damage to the areas surrounding it, and possibly even send a scab inside, more likely itll demolish the barrel and other aspects such as that, leaving the T80 Out of action.
(this is an example not 100 percent fact) more shows hwo the round works
However in game you can wallope the side of a BMP2 with a 120mm Hesh from a chieftain and do absolutely. nothing.
At the very least would probably take out the tracks and rattle the crew inside enough to completely disoritate or maybe even injure them
Yeah you get my point, it wouldnt just detonate on the front and do absolutely nothing xD
Yeah, what is most damming is the clips of unarmoured targets like Pantsir/FlakRads tanking hits and barely loosing a tyre.
HESH is definetly fundamentally broken.
Gaijin couldn’t screw over British designs harder if they tried. Solid shot and APDS do no damage and so many things are overtired and blatantly inaccurate. The British Sherman is 3.7 when the same tank in the US tree is 3.3. tortoise is missing centimetres of armour. Scimitar and fox have been gimped beyond viability and HESH flat out does not function
what solid shots we talking here
Fox ive not seen the changes, the scimitar was useless from the get go, based off the scorpion and which is the fastest tank in the world, yet its barely able to go 70kph in game xD
Know what is even more annoying btw, when hesh does work and you feel great, I got a kill with it hte other day and was over the moon, then since then “hit”
Any damn wheeled light man, acts as if theyre layered in spaced reactice amrour -.-
Shot a rooikat with 105mm hesh from my type 74 and it done literally nothing.
Turret traverse got halved. It’s not so slow you’re genuinely useless unless you’re sniping, which you’re useless at because you’re shooting IS3 tanks
That sounds incredibly silly, wheres the report for that? i never seen it in the patch notes…
The bug report was complete guesswork. massive thanks to jarms for ruining the only super fun vehicle at any BR with a guesswork report
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/RuPCHKHo71e6
he also did the same shoddy guesswork for the scimitar making it even more trash

Wait theres genuinely no documentation to go with it, while I know we cant see submitted documents, usually when someone actually makes a bug report to change something, they need to provide sources??? they havent mentioned it at all.
