It was a joke. Don’t read too much into it
Jokes fly over my head and I will take them literally, just to warn u
Britain also has a delisted Swedish Centurion with SS-11(Strv 81 Rb-52) back in 2016.
I loved that premium Centurion so damn much back then.(We be old)
They are actually pretty good on the SEP v3 because they cover the tank well. My friend sent me this yesterday when we tested SEP v3 camo against gen 3 thermal:

Holy shit wtf
Yeah, that has totally stopped Gaijin from doing stuff like that.
Oh, wait. There was this time when they removed the stabilizer from the italian M60 premium like half a year after it’s introduction.
Yes, and they made sure they complied with advertisement laws across all of their supported countries.
Your post is a weird way to defend FOMO though.

I finally got around to doing some thermal signature testing on the new US SEP v3 with camo net. UK v3 should be the same. I think you’ll find the results very interesting.(Don’t use TUSK, TUSK remove a lot of netting)
Something very important to note is that the thermal signature of the turret increases by a lot if the hull is facing toward the threat. Best stealth is achieved by having the turret turned 90° to the side. All tests are done like this except one to show the difference.
Here are the results. 500m distance on Hurtgen. Gen 1 thermal is x12 zoom, Gen 3 thermal is x8 zoom(Strv PLSS)(picture is wrong, it’s gen3, not gen2):
To use CROWS LP, you need to assign a shortcut to use machinegun, and one to reset weaponry. By using machine gun, it sends you to the CROWS optics. Also, SEPv2 Trophy CROWS shines brightly due to no camonet on it.
As you can see, SEP v3 in hulldown with the hull facing away is nearly invisible to GEN1 thermal, especially at longer range like on Fulda. Feel free to share to your community/squadrons.
Oh, THIS IS NEAT!
I figure Gaijin realised the differences between SEPv3 and all others was too underwhelming to justify its existence, so they decided to give them this nice quirk.
Oh this is actually sick, not super mega game changing, but still super cool it’s modeled.
Another reason for me to keep playing the SEPv3 (not that I needed more reasons for that of course)
Holy, this is neat! Will keep in mind whenever I play my SEPV3, thanks! :D
