I was mostly grinding Rank 3 and 4 with the C.202 EC at 4.0 because I got a random talisman for it, but the FM is very subpar, and 80-90% of the matches I am thrown into 4.7+
I’m currently stock grinding the C.205 series 3, mostly because it’s 4.7 and I’m hoping I don’t get uptiered so often, although the plane doesn’t seem to be a big improvement from the test flights.
Do you guys recommend I keep playing the C.205 s3, go back to the 202 EC with talisman or choose another?
I’m only grinding the italian TT because I want the MB-362K and the Sagittario 2, everything else I just don’t care because it’s garbage, or because its already on another TT that I have (I’ve grinded 8 of them to top tier)

Practically all Italian props in rank IV are overtiered
IF you don’t copy paste, Yak-9P is your best choice
You also have the Re.2005, which due to the average WT pilot skill level does well.
C.205 serie 3 is perfectly fine, just with Rank IV SL/RP bonuses and Rank IV repair bill.
G.55 serie 1 is a serie 0 but with 3 20mils instead of one and recieves a 1.0 BR uptier but it doesn’t recieve a new powerplant and you are heavier.
G.55S ditches away the Breda SAFATS and it is lighter.
G.56 also ditches the Breda SAFATS entirely AND recieves a new engine, but is sent to 6.3.
Avoid Bf 109 G-14/AS, it’s only difference with it’s German counterpart is better cooling, both are just bf-109 g-6s in 5.3 instead of 4.7.

Yeah I think only the non italian props get a fair BR because they are copy paste from other trees, everything else is overtiered to oblivion.
I can’t phantom how the hell the 6.3 italian props deserve that placement, they would not even be good at 5.7
After spading the C.205 s3 I went back to the 202 EC and just focused on ground pound, and killing some attackers if I encountered them in the early game. The plane itself is a pain in the a** and is more 3.3-3.7 material. The engine cooks itself if you produce anywhere near 1200hp with radiators all open, I have to lower prop pitch to cut engine power.
I am 65k RP away from skipping all those props and grind Rank V forward with the IAR 93B at 9.0 which doesn’t seem too bad. My main goal is to get the MB-267k, which is not so far away.
Only decent prop I found is the SM.92 at Rank 3 (which I can use to grind rank 4) because of the airspawn, but the 202 EC with talisman is a slightly better grinder even though my win rate with it is far worse

Mb326k is so much fun
When you get the 30mm gunpods use gun selector to only use one pair of guns at a time so you can get more uptime, you dont really lose much since you can still outturn most things and outspeed those you cant even with the extra weight
But otherwise yeah the yak9p unfortunately

I dont intend to use the pods, they weigh it down a lot.
On my 2nd match I did 2 player kills, 13 ground targets (mostly the AA trucks) + 2 or 3 ai attacker kills. All with the internal guns with 250 rounds total. I am used to the defas and I like their ballistics a lot

G55, C205, Bf109G14, Tu-2S…
I don’t have an opinion on G56.
Re 2005 going up with the VDM was weird, but the VDM’s correctly BR’d.
My go-to before 2005 was moved up was 205, G55, G56, and 2005.
I have VDM as well which I absolutely love to use.
I think I have a skill issue with the G56, but G55 is solid.

The 6.3 Re.2005 are completelly outclassed by the Yak-3u that is sitting at 5.7 for example.
The MB-326K is very OP indeed, I think it should go to 8.0 or maybe even 8.3
I was the one to bring that up a few weeks ago.
Also they’re closer more than different classes, but still should be the same BR at minimum.

yeah what I’m saying is for the mb326k the extra weight doesnt really cost much in terms of opportunity cost, youre still a very effective dogfighter

I plan on spading the two (Re. 2005 and G.56) what can i expect? Or should i just expect nothing and bend over and hope the enemy goes easy to me.
Re.2005 turns well but lacks the speed and climb rate to justify the BR placement. A7M2 outturns it, has similar climb (just a bit worse) and speed, sits at a much lower BR… Yak3U matches your turn, with much more energy and climb/speed… at lower BR
G.56, like most of the italian prop fighters, is a jack of no trades. It does everything mid. Except the guns, of course.
The only strong suit of Italian props is the guns and ammo count, but they are paired with subpar FM which makes it hard to have the opportunity to use them in the first place. I feel like thats the common theme

is fine, good even, doesnt do super well at alt, not that youll really have the opportunity to climb considering youll be fighting jets half the time
g56 is basically the same but a bit better engine, but more boring
i think the re2005 shouldve stayed at 6.0 but the VDM got overused and theyre still fundamentally the same thing
ehh theyre not that bad, their engines can be a bit lacking but everyone underestimates your turning which can match even spitfires in some planes, and they dont have the worst energy retention

The late spitfires are not dogfighters like the early ones. The P-51H will outturn all of the high tier ones, and there are better turners than the P-51H around there
no i was talking about the italian planes in general, including some vs those early spitfires

I found the 3.3 Re.2001 decent but I still prefer the spitfires because they climb better and are faster too IIRC
the re2001s in my experience can dogfight at minimum on par, but yeah they have worse guns and climbing ability, but they are a lower br than the Vb for a reason
Yeah they can, but the spitfire will often be higher/faster so it’s not a fair fight. The Re.2001 actually turns better than it iirc, but it lacks the energy to compete.
The ones without cannons are probably very good FM for their BR though, but you are limited to MGs, which at 3.0 is ok I guess
