i do base bombing with the he-111 h-6 and i get around 1500-2000 researching points a round if i survive the round, if i get shot down then i get around 300-400.
You could probably get bases with the ME-410’s and then still be able to play as a heavy fighter for the rest of the match.
Flying a rather slow bomber during a grinding event is usually a recipe for disaster.
In case you want an honest feedback:
I took the time to watch 3 of your last replays.
Good:
- You played with a friend
- You tried to keep situational awareness
Not so good:
- You spray from 1.2 km with 3 x 7,92 mm MGs
- You tail chase bombers without excess speed in He 100 D-1
- You killed you engine due to overheating
It boils down that your passion seems to be tank warfare. Most tank players can recite pen values or reload times of all tanks in their preferred BR, but struggle then in basics regarding the proper usage of aircraft - they don’t know what their and enemy planes can do.
Short term recommendation:
So for your short term problem (RP for 50mm Me 262) i recommend you to read this:
PvE Mode for Bomber - #12 by Real_K_Soze
I embedded there (behind a spoiler) a guide for using the BR 4.3 Do 217 as a bomber which worked perfect for me. As the Do 217 is actually harder to use as a He 111 (way stronger fighter opposition at higher BRs) this might help you to be more successful in your He 111.
Regarding RP:
Have in mind that the majority of RP is generated by time - so scoring a few base kills late game whilst staying alive until then is way more effective than spawn, drop on a base and die & repeat.
Example: I played today on Norway waited for my chance (with 0 mission score) and killed after 21 minutes (as last player of my team) the last enemy player alive. The kill gave me (including hits) in total 390 RP - but the playtime and the 100% RP win bonus granted me 3.830 RP. On top of that i decided to take-off from a carrier and this created further 95 RP. 😂
So staying alive for most of your matches is quite beneficial for you. For doing this in a bomber you need either a hell of experience or a hell of luck - often you need both.
Final recommendation:
But as a long term solution you should think about which aircraft you will need and will fly the most in Ground RB and if and how they are suitable for Air RB. So a few hours in doing some forum research and watch tutorials about Air RB in general and your desired aircraft will make you a way better player in the long run. You play a shooter and not a “get shot” video game.
This looks like an advice from 2019 / 2020 as the TNT requirements for bases were lower and the Air RB meta was “climb to win”.
That means that today in most of your matches the lowest Rank III Me 410 A-1 (3.3) can’t even kill a single base and the survival rates for twin engine strike aircraft decreased as players don’t climb anymore - so undetected sneak runs became rare. So even if you are able to drop you rarely make it back as often 3-5 guys will sacrifice their altitude for a kill.
Sure you see thousands of guys using the Italian / Hungarian premium Bf 110 G-4 with C 500 Flamm killing 2 bases, but just a fraction gets back to base alive.
Regarding Me 410:
-
I do not recommend any Me 410 for a player without significant Air RB experience as even for me with ~ 30k ww2 BR Air RB matches the plane is not easy to use - but i like(d) the challenge.
-
Even if the player gets a full downtier and the 2 x SC 500 of the Me 410 A-1 (Rank III, BR 3.3) can kill a base the enemy fighter opposition at BR 2.7-3.3 is way too strong. Above BR 3.3 the two bombs can’t kill a base completely - and a large chunk of “base kill RP” is connected to base destruction. So in the worst case all bombers & strike fighter get killed (=nobody finished the damaged base) and you will have 30-40% less RP.
-
During grinding events every match will be a full or partial uptier and it gets rather hopeless for playing them as strike aircraft - as soon as you get spotted every moron will dive on a 410 as they expect a free kill.
-
Despite i wrote not easy to use you can make it work - but only as a fighter using the very good climb and good high alt (6 km or more) performance and if you know what to do - and even then you cant afford to make a single mistake vs single engine fighters. So the skill requirements are actually way highers as a plain BR 3.3 P-63 A-5, Yak-1B or MB 157 sees them as snacks.
ok thanks guys
Go hunt bombers with the do 335. Best way for me
just play the game as a fighter
most the time that is the best way to get rp
germany has some okay ones
the 262a1u4 is rank4 so try the 109f4 g6 or k4
if you wanna grind with an attacker use the 335a1 at 4.3
