It’s alright, it’s a unorthodox tank with a wonky playstyle, I had to crash and burn when I first started playing them (103-0 back 3-4 years ago) and then still wasn’t great with the 103 A mostly because APDS thingies plague the BR. Then I got to the C, and it’s an accurate representation.
Why do you think (ofc you don’t know everything about me) TD’s are my favorite, particularly the Jagdpanther >:-)
The british gripen works fine, yours with the aim120s should be okay as well but yeah gripen E would be nice.
I mean the Su30 sort of brings the russian air up to speed, which it really does.

It isn’t accurate. Missing redundant systems which would give it at least the chance to not just constantly be torched by people too daft to shoot the other side. And a few other things but my particular crusade is the missing redundancy that would make it the MBT it was designed to be.
DCS is very severely lacking in the quality it once had….
Yet alone all the legal issues it and RAZBAM are having.
All they are trying to do is bring some players back to the game.

well a J10 took out an indian rafale. however I do have to think this was a pilot & planning screwup more than the Chinese aircraft being even close to what Dassault can do

It needs its separate engine-transmission packs and they need to be more durable. Not to forget the middle firewall is 40mm’s, and no spall is going through it, and if it does, the crew is always wearing Kevlar and standard issue Kevlar Tanker helmets.
Not to also forget the spall coming from 40mm’s of armor is close to nil and the bit that does happen would do no damage to the internals.
They took a hatchet to teh poor things g limit and agility. It would really benefit from the greater pylon count of NG, let alone flight performance. Or hell, even the central pylon would be nice.
I like su 30, but the main efficacy I’ve found with it is finally being able to engage folk at a respectable range. But I also primarily do ground pounding, so others probably better off at it than I.
I standby that overconfidence and under-preparation did most the indian rubbish in. Can have all the best kit on the planet, and whilst confidence in that kit is good, overconfidence in it can do you in just as well as being outclassed. Rafale platform is a weapon system like any other, not a miracle.
That’s surprising. It’s usually an uphill battle to get folk to listen that Strv 103 was an MBT and not a TD.
Oh, yeah, the 103 is literally my favorite tank, ever, obviously I don’t know if you’ve seen my posts over it, but I am basically familiar with every system and mechanical part of the tank, not down to the bolt, but throw me in one and I could run off a few commies.
Also, it’s not a TD, but I know it’s tactics and best situations, so it use them to my advantage.
It is my favourite, but playing it makes me sad at how botched it is. I get a minority of a minority are fond of it, but it would be nice if they fixed it. It could be so mighty, or at least not be constantly set ablaze.

Yeah, that ‘front fuel tank’ is bullshit, it doesn’t even exist in the real tank, not to mention not even a HEAT jet can ignite the real fuel tanks, and they self-seal on the insides IIRC.
Best kit is the Trumpeter, it’s not a very expensive one, there are lots of aftermarket’s for it, and it will take some cleaning patience, but they are good kits if you don’t rush them.
Im aware they axed. cause it released IMO too soon, so the playerbase shit itself as it was too good.
I seen someone on another thread saying the airframes capabilities are now camparable to prototype gripens or something to that effect.
Lets give a bit of respect to the chinese, they are massively increasing their equipments capabilities, the J10 is by no means a bad air craft.
