This game is still as popular as ever, and it will stay that way for at least a couple more decades.
You know why? War Thunder has the monopoly here when it comes to tank, plane, ship games combined together as a game and many varieties.
There has yet to be any competitor on the market.
If you plan on investing in this game, I recommend it :)
Most games i played only died when the devs themselves decided to move to something new…
Or the company that owned them decided that…
Programmers, artists, testers…they all get a paycheck and generate income…if someone decides they can make better on a new product, then the old one will die…
Bottom line…have no clue…

I convinced most of my friends that the game is terrible (50 players +/-), and now we spend most of our time playing other games. I taught them not to play games from companies that treat players poorly. If everyone does their part, War Thunder will have no players in a few years. Maybe they won’t even need someone convincing them, since the decision-making team for this game is professional at frustrating every niche of players, whether casual or competitive

I believe this would be more appropriate to consider the fact that most people have terrible experience in this game because of how the game is designed, frustration gets the best of everyone.

World of Warcraft has been out for 20 years, and is still pretty popular. Unless something major happens I don’t see War Thunder dying anytime soon.
