And what? It’s just one of the earliest Yak-130 that was later fitted with SOLT-25. It’s still Yak-130.
“In May 2012, the RIA Novosti news agency reported that the Russian Defense Ministry abandoned the idea of creating a light combat version of the Yak-130 aircraft. “This idea was not a bad one. At one time, the developments of such an aircraft called the Yak-131 were created, but it had to be abandoned,” said Colonel-General Alexander Zelin, Assistant Minister of Defense for Aviation . He explained that the armament and combat load of the Yak-130 were suitable for performing the tasks of a light combat aircraft, but the pilot’s security was insufficient. A new type of attack aircraft is included in the state armament program and approved for equipping Air Force. Therefore, a light attack aircraft will still be created on the basis of the Su-25 aircraft. In the new project, the attack aircraft will be designed for two pilots: a commander and a navigator-operator. In accordance with the armament program, the aircraft will be produced by Sukhoi Corporation together with the plant in Ulan-Ude.”
i dont care what you are posting rn bro. you came with a pretentious statement. i presented pictures that atleast the one working airframe with weapons capability was produced.
as far as im concerned, this convo is done.
good day m8
You showed Yak-130
Yak-130
And same Yak-130 but with SOLT
And here even is another variant of how it was fitted
BRUH!
the yak-131 is a VARIANT of the yak-130. doesn’t matter if its a different or the same airframe. the fact is that it was made. which disproves your initial claim. idk why you are arguing over this.
It wasn’t ever bulit. That SOLT was put on Yak-130 doesn’t mean it’s Yak-131. I already posted statement about Yak-131 project but you can live in your fantasy. And the first photo I showed is 2022, while others are older, which means SOLT was removed.
yak-131 is a modification of the yak-130 airframe. the 131 designation was given to it WITH those modifications. and im sorry but arguing like this is petty.
the yak-131 IS the yak-130 but modified. there are plenty of aircraft that received upgrades/modifications and then got a new designation.
If we got rid of stuff that was rejected from service, then you’d have to remove the Yak-141 itself and a number of other tanks
lmao
Good joke. 10/10
