yak -130 is a strike aircraft design to REPLACE the SU-25. dosent matter what you or i think. if it fits the role AND was designed to replace it, it is the logical sucessor.
and please no inter-company politics here

i must also apologise as the exact variant of the yak-130 that was the successor of the su-25 is the yak-131.
it seems to be equipped with a phazotron radar as well as a SU-25 like front camera system.
the original model is still a strike aircraft but idk if it was originally designed with intent to replace the su-25 in mind.

I also kind of skipped over the “Strike aircraft” bit, favouring putting Yaks with Yaks (Admittedly this is stupid, you spend all that time grinding for the 141 just to have to research a limited capability strike aircraft)

I personally don’t like the look of any fifth gen jets and most fourth gen, and American jets in general (Skyhawk and Phantom excluded) I don’t like, I much prefer European designs

GR.1/MFG, earlier Tornados are my favourite, the GR.4 is nice though, I’m not a big fan of the Italian ones.

yep, that was my favourite aircraft and probably my first rank 7.
but they killed it after they moved the marinefleiger up to 11.3 something.
before that it was getting used so much i would laugh as the enemy thought of me as like the other bots and i immediately dogfight them into oblivion. (its a good fighter if you player vertical with landing flaps and reverse thrust)

It’s at 11.0 but yes, it used to dominate everything, maybe with 12.3 coming we’ll see some resurgence, I was still able to use the Marineflieger at it’s current BR, I’ve won dogfights against Tomcats and what not

what you are talking about is the yak-133 which was cancelled
