Amraams are like the worst missile at toptier man the 120D would actually even the playing field since the r-77-1 is in game and that is just better than the amraam overall
two-way data link is already half implemented ingame

Странно, но исторические носители aim - 120d как раз таки и были super F/A-18C/E, F-15C MSIP II / F-15E Strike Eagle и F-16 поздних модификациий. Интересно узнать откуда вы взяли информацию, что они не получат такое вооружение?
Yup, I was debating on mentioning that but i decided not to. I think they wont add true 2 way datalink because implementing retargeting in a game like this will be difficult especially when you are engaging multiple targets.
In real life yes they use them, but in the community post they have said the AIM-120D will be for a new jet coming to US.
The CM disclosure mentioned that the Aim-120D will make its appearence on a new jet variant, it hasn’t been confirmed wether the F-15 GE, Strike Eagle etc. are gonna receive it, but as Smin always says, it’s subject to change and tbf @_AMI said it as well.

I mean we kinda have two-way datalink already as you are able to see where your missile is and where the target it’s tracking is (at least in arcade/rb)
The cope will be massive for me if it’s a copy paste F/A-18E super garbage with block III slapped on the forehead.

Не стоит так говорить, и перестаньте возводить все в абсолют. Или вы реально хотели что бы super hornet был ультимативной машиной? Против кого? Su-30sm2? Или Еврафайтеров с Рафалями? Моё виденье на счёт super hornet таково - с учётом его текущего боевого рейтинга в купе с его летными характеристиками, у него нет возможности задать благоприятные условия пуска для aim-120c5, с этим хорошо справляются f-15 которые способны разогнаться до 2 махов. Следовательно если рассматривать super hornet как участника в дальнем воздушном бою, aim 120d станет хорошим дополнением, я не уверен, но думаю это даст ему возможность быть конкурентоспособным. И да, не забывайте, ракета - r27er все ещё сильнее любой fox3 в рамках дальнего воздушного боя.

Aim120D is far from needed. What’s needed is better aim120 modeling. Their model sucks to high drag, too low impulse. No reduced notch window like that of the mica. If they even picked one of these to fix the current aim120’s we probably wouldn’t have to get 120D’s

If aim120d comes with most aim120 issues fixed then its going to be whats needed, if it retains all of the nonsense then its just useless
