Reaching out because I put in a bug report for how the AH-1G/Tzefa A/B pilot sight is lacking the FFAR rocket option when you’re in the cockpit ( AH-1G platform lacking FFAR sight inside cockpit // Gaijin.net // Issues). This is in accordance with TM 55-1520-221-10 ( AH-1G Flight Manual : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive). Keep in mind, it used to have a default boresighted sight before they added the sight options for the chin turret, underpod guns and the 20mm.
Here’s the pickle. It was closed and denied with the Bug Reporting Manager stating “If you have suggestions for the game, you can submit them on the forum:
Suggestions - War Thunder — official forum” So, in accordance with what they said, I reached out to a Suggestion Moderator just to check that it fits the category as maybe I missed it in there but I don’t see that as an option on the rules for the topic and it would need to be approved ( Rules, Guidelines & Tips For Creating Suggestions (Check Before Creating A New Suggestion!) - Suggestions - War Thunder — official forum). They respond with that it is for something that already exists in game and DOES NOT meet the requirements to be in the suggestion section. So what do I do with this data or does the helicopters just get an artificial nerf of lacking something it should? That would also mean that the OH-6 Littlebird and the OH-53D Kiowa could never get the MFD weapons system data it should (range to target and CCIP) and that the OH-53D Kiowa will never get the PDU that is, ironically, modeled in the 3D model ( OH-58D lacking Pilot Display Unit // Gaijin.net // Issues).
