Regular T-72B3 gets a 11.3 battle rating.
T-72B3 “Arena” Throw in a active protection system and it gets a BR reduction to 11.0.
Compare it to a Nation Giajin don’t like, like the UK
Regular challenger 2 gets 11.7
Black Knight, a regular challenger 2 with active protection and its 12.7.
Seriously explain this balancing in any way other than Gross Russian Bias.
Give a Russian vehicle a active protection system its BR gets 0.3 lower
Give a UK vehicle active protection system its BR gets 1.0 higher
I don’t know too, I’ve been fighting for the arena to go up in br. Its the exact same as t72b3 but has an upgrade of an APS. I was just saying that Black Knight APS is different so you can’t use that comparison. My theory is that Gaijin put it at 11.0 so it can counter the SPIKE missiles at the same br.
I know technically not the thread for this but, what is the T-72B3A even doing at 12.3 when the only difference between it and T-72B3(M) is that it trades somewhat useful side protection for somewhat useful APS?
I don’t even main Russia and it still weirds me out how these two are practically identical for all intents and purposes but sit 1.0 BR apart when both could just be 11.7 :/
This one is definitely placed too high imo, it’s overall a worse vehicle than the 12.0 T-80Us after I realized that how good the 3BM46 actually perform, similar like the one on the Oplot tells me I don’t need more firepower to kill everything it sees, except for 2A7 and 122A but they did the same to 3BM60 as frequently. And don’t forget the 3BM46 has a 6.0s reload timer where the 3BM60 has 7.0s on T-72s, big f-different bro
I genuinely don’t see how how it’s supposed to be played at its current BR apart from “wait for others to drive into you”, it’s a non top tier MBT fighting top tier MBTs for no apparent reason…
I had a better experience playing the T-90A against 11.7s than I am having in this against 2A7s and 122s, even if my stats say otherwise.
