add powerful spaa to airfields, then make being in spaa protected zone count as landed, and slighlty increase the timer, fixes 2 problems at once now you have actual protection on airfield but cant abuse it to camp the match or you will start the ticket bleed
War Thunder isn’t ready for modern air OR ground combat. They rushed in to both of them for money and to compete with other franchises (like Armored Warfare which I don’t think exists anymore, and Gunner Heat PC). It’s blatantly obvious.

True. The gameplay above rank VI is abysmal and I don’t understand how anyone can enjoy it, let alone want new, better things.
People always complain about how bad top BRs are, but they still play them so much. Also, Gaijin won’t stop adding modern stuff until they run out, which will hopefully cause them to flesh out gameplay and other stuff.

Well, AF definitely need better protection from spawn camping, so…
Airfields are currently about 90km from each other,so the moment you take off, you get launched at by Patriot.

So, quick question, why can’t gaijin just nerf the range of the patriot?
There are many vehicles in game that are nerfed from there irl counterpart’s so it wouldn’t be that bad if the patriot’s had like half to 1/3 of there range on certain maps.

That would be great but I seriously doubt it. Their business model relies on pain alleviation for the grind of new and better vehicles. When that stops the game development will slowly halt and probably slowly migrate to a new project. Exploiting human nature is more profitable than creating a good game with enjoyable gameplay.
Sadly we have no alternative in this fantastic genre.
