i have been thinking a lot about what will come after from this tree and what could fill its gap in top tier. there is an upgraded variant called the yak-141m which received rwr upgrades radar and general cockpit and avionics suite upgrades which although many reffer to the variant in game as the 41-m it is not. Another logical progression could be the yak-43 although neither of these went into production. it would be amazing to see these enter the game though it is highly unlikely. my best guess other than my previous two would be naval variants of russias main fighters. which would just be boring tbh. one more thing i was gonna say is how underpowered the 141 really is, although i am not even halfway through the mods tree i feel that it is simply outclassed. anyway if you read all that thanks and feel free to comment your thoughts on the topic. :)
MiG-29K
If gaijin really wanted to finish off the line, they could add a Yak-141 “late” variant with better weaponry such as R-73s and R-77s, and for ground attack Kh-25 missile.
Otherwise I see the Yak-141 line pretty much complete/at a dead end.
which is basically the yak-141m, i hope they atleast do that if not the yak-43, that thing would be amazing to see in game. sadly that one didnt even get a prototype like a lot of russias cool aviation. and i dont think gaijin will kill the line, worst case scenario i think we just get more naval migs and su aircraft
Yak-41M*
Only way is in my opinion change from Yak-line to naval line and add MiG-29K. Or give Yak-141, R-73 and R-77 on higher BR and before it give Yak-130. It wont replace 141 on BR 12.7 but it will make smaller gap between 38 and 141.
idk why a lot of people remove the 1 when its just a upgraded variant, valid correction tho
they just need to add an upgraded 141 with rwr upgrade and missiles like you said and throw a naval mig between the normal 141 and the 41m, perfect way to continue the line imo, defo should stay a naval line considering its Russia’s only naval air route. and as for the yak 130 i feel like it doesnt even have a place in the line, that thing should be mixed into the strike route for sure
141 is western name for 41M as I remember. If I remember correctly.
I think that one Yak-141 which is already semi-historical is more than enough. But we have options in adding more modern armament and in addition of Yak-130 and MiG-29K.
And in near future, when Yak-130M will be finished, we can get that. It carry R-74M and R-77-1.

Honestly I don’t see the Yak-43M ever coming to the game. There’s little information about it and while there are models of what it could’ve looked like, it’s not enough for an addition into the game.
Would it be nice to see? Sure.
