Given that the US has enough Service Use production aircraft that it should be receiving 1 prop and 1 jet per major, I don’t know why you’re so bitter.

I don’t think we need new jets. Gaijin should focus on implementing new weaponry/mechanics to existing jets. But again that wouldn’t give them money.

gen 5 isnt happening. you got f22 and f35 which would curbstomp everythign else, going on available data that is. su 57 would be free kill, only j20 would be able to compete slightly.
nobody mentioning the single best aircraft we should get. f16xl. cool ass aircraft that was mostly done it just lost out to the f15e.

i dont think we should get any AESA radars, they made rwrs essentially irrelevant
so does TWS tbf, although the logical step are the earlier PESA and penultimate MSA radars (like french RBE2 PESA or ECR90/CAPTOR on typhoon)

Most likely, but it’s unlikely any sources exist to prove it.
I do think team sizes are too big for jets with AESA Radars and the ability to DL 8 missiles.

That’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when. Gen 5 fighters will come, and sooner rather than later.
I completely agree with @CommunistBalls on this subject, altough the delay of the F/A-18C Hornet makes me a little bit less sure about that, fingers crossed!

Youre delusional. You simply dont understand how massive the gap between 5thgen fighters and modern weaponry is to what we have now. Top tier arb is already broken. Imagine with meteors with a 60km kill range(not max range mind you) launched from a stealth fighter.
This is completely ignoring the fact that we have virtually no info on these vehicles, and the fact that russia has no 5th gen aircraft you could give them nor do they have any modern missiles.
Your take is just completely wrong…c’mon man please do some efforts. The maps weren’t ready for Aim-120s 16v16 either yet here we are, this isn’t going to stop Gaijin. We are getting 5th generation fighters way sooner than you think, also Meteor is completely off-topic as it has nothing to do with 5th gen, no 5th gen fighters can carry them, oh man, you really seem to know a lot about the subject huh?Why would the “gap” matter? Everybody would get a 5th gen, you’re acting like only the US would, have you heard of the existence of the F-35, or the Su-57? As for missiles the R-37M exists, the R-77-1 or R-77M exists too.
We got as much info for the F-22 as we do about the Rafale, yet here we are, you’re stuck in 2021 back when vehicles had all of their infos declassified, this stopped the very moment the F-16 dropped, move on.

Raptor, Felon and Mighty Dragon will all come to the game.
For me it’s important they only face other Gen 5 that means No Gen 4 or 4.5 are able to be uptiered to face Gen 5 aiframes.
the other nations will have F-35 and other indigenous Gen 5 aircraft.

I’ve heard the Eurofighter T4 can stand its own agaisnt the F-22, so maybe an exception for this one? pardon me if I’m wrong.
Typhoon can in WVR same as the Rafale but BVR these Gen 5 aircraft are different level.
If they also have the same missiles (Aim120C) Then the Typhoon will have a tough time.
It all depends on what systems Gaijin model, PIRATE IRST system on Typhoon is designed to detect and target Stealth airframes. The fear of Radar not being sufficient to detect Russian Gen 5 aircraft was a real driving force.

not 5th gen. r37m would play like a faster phoenix. r77-1 and r77m arent even comparable to most modern missiles.
