I don’t understand what the Gaijin mods define a Reliable source as, I have made reports using Manufacturers as a resource but the mods say they aren’t reliable, in the penetration or other things maybe, but in product weight, and other physical characteristics. I just don’t understand it. Could the mods please shed some light on this?

Depends on the Nation, if you want to report something from Russia just get a random YouTube video made by a Russian 12 year old.
If you want to bug report the UK, you need written approval from the Field Marshal, the King and 20 pages of classified documents.
