I am currently playing ranks 5-6 and having a lot of fun, but I am now feeling like going back and trying out rank 4 planes as I barely ever played them in arb. So, which planes do you advise me? The spits? The cats? The corsair? The sea fury? I’m not looking for powercreeps, just decent aircrafts for this tier.
Ppls might suggest the fighters but the best plane there is using the AD4 as a fighter, it also grind pretty consistently since ur mostly gonna face German team at that br with 288 spam so after the initial battle, u can just ground pound in peace.
Most fun i had is with the Seafire tho.

The spitfire is decent, but you definitely should play the Corsair. It’s very well armed, with a decent climb rate and great speed. The only issues you will run into is that it, the bearcat, and the spitfire are missing several hundred HP stock, and it makes them all very unenjoyable until you spade them.

With the corsair should I ground pound or is it better to not carry bombs in order to climb?
Don’t ground pound in it in air RB, but it’s incredibly powerful in GRB. I’d recommend only going for ground targets near the end of the battle when your team has a player advantage over the other.
Also, you’ll need to use MEC to get the most out of it, MOBB’s guide shows the correct settings.

Alright, good to know. Also is it a good idea to use the flaps in the corsair?
