new York city and LA would be crazy
Rome and Budapest for ground battles, Valletta and Vladivostok for naval battles.
Battle for Rome, 8-10 September 1943.
Budapest 1956
Valletta (modern or WW2)

Vladivostok (modern)
Why new maps when The dev team clearly has no idea what they’re doing when it comes to maps most of the recent ones are ugly, unrealistic, and functionally bad at the same time.
Instead of forcing these maps on us, snail should release a full-featured map editor. Let players create maps, then let the community vote on them. The highest-voted maps could then be implemented into the game.
This would be infinitely better than the current situation.
Golan heights ground RB. (Trying to find a photo.)
More era appropriate maps. It feels stupid playing ww2 tanks on a modern theme map and vice versa… but the BR system also leads to some severe anachronisms.
A lot of top tier players are crying out for larger maps. Give them their larger maps, but do not inflict them on ww2 era BRs where they would be painful. Try playing the Jagdtiger on the big version of eastern europe and you’ll understand.
More maps which have a lot of variants. One of the things i like about maps like Volokolamsk is that there are enough different areas of the wider map the game can take place in that it feels like more than one map. This is good! Volokolamask itself though… maybe not so good.
While remodeling old maps, adding new areas to play in would be awesome. I know a lot of people don’t like urban maps but personally i do for late ww2 BR games (ie 5.7-6.7). A “suberbs of Berlin” map could be created expanding on the recently remodelled Berlin map, for example.
A map which can be played in different orientations would be interesting. If one layout had the fight east to West and one layout had it north to south that could offer some interesting variety… perhaps it could be trialed on a map like Campania with some modifications to stop immediate spawn to spawn fire.
Sir thats Altis.
I want some bigass WW2 maps. There’s this one campaign map in WT which has a town surrounded by water with bridges, I would love to see that as like a Defense game mode. I want more long range big maps.
A (properly scaled) Falkland map in Sim would be nice…
And of course anything with an interesting, useful landscape. Kinda sick of table-flat maps that don’t offer any tactical use of topography…

It has demilitarized status due to Lausanne Convention.
What does this have to do with the game?
Never knew the ARMA3 map was so close to that. That’s mad as.
oh my god its earth
so did the rhineland, and we have a map about that
The map is reproducing offensive operations that took place in 1945 as the WAllies secured bridgeheads over the Rhine. Specifically Cologne.
By that time the demilitarisation of the Rhineland had been over for nine years. It was fully sovereign territory of a nation at war with other nations. Nothing wrong about depicting it in WT.
We also have other historically neutral nations featured (the map Sweden being an example). We have WW1 maps (Flanders) that are played at any BR, fictional locations like Test Site, Cold War maps at WW2 BRs (north Holland), we even have the snowy wasteland of the Arctic lmao.
They can throw in whatever map they want. So long as it’s good for gameplay, I don’t mind.
It would be the perfect map. For people who want to play long range, there’s long range. For people who enjoy urban combat, there is plenty of urban areas. Amphibious vehicles can actually use their unique funtionality, and it could be the first all branches combined map.
plus it’s a large enough map you could get 128 players and not feel the chokehold of CAS found in smaller maps
