This is more reasonable than F-35 to be next December by an order of magnitude
But I do agree, they should have focused on more variants and cold war stuff

Unfortunately from an SB perspective, I wont get that oppotunity as I’ll always be matched with the F-18s, meaning instead i’ll be constantly on the defensive from teammates trying to kill me

Honestly. No. I think Between the F-16C, F-15C, F-15E and F-18C the US has a fairly solid top tier line-up for now. I was more thinking things like:
F-2 for Japan
Gripen E for Sweden
J-10B for China

An F-15C late wouldn’t hurt tbh. Would have better radar, but trade the raw speed on the F-15E
I stil need to dig out my HOTAS to try out sim in a harrier. I tried it with props two years ago and WT does not do stick controls well at all. 20+ year old flight sims beat it out
SAS mode is easy mode :P
I dont know what that means bro I haven’t touched sim in a very very long time.
SAS mode is a setting under full controls which smoothens and limits inputs (kinda a bit like FBW) and it overrides having to deal with things like Trim.
But its only available on later aircraft (I have yet to find out the exact requirements for an aircraft to get SAS modes, despite asking)
But enabling SAS mode: Damping Makes flying a lot easier
Do different jets have different levels of SAS? And can you feel the difference between an advanced SAS, like on an F-15, and FBW?

Some have none.
Some have only Damping mode
some have Damping or Automatic leveling modes
But no difference between different aircraft with the same modes.
But stuff like the Typhoon with SAS off are a lot easier to fly than something like a Harrier is. Though I do need to master flying without SAS mode at some point because it does have an impact on what you can do sometimes
