Even after facing them after multiple DACT bouts they still hold a 3/1 over even the F-16
The Harrier accelerates to around 400 knots at a stupidly rapid pace.
At low altitude losing speed in a Harrier is not the end of the world if you know how to position yourself.

I mean if youre sending planes do to strikes instead of cruise missiles stealth isn’t your worry anymore as their air defence is gone

Are the 9.7 Harriers not included? They certainly face Sabres regularly.
Again, the Harrier is a subsonic. In that fight, the world is their oyster to the F-16. They can do whatever they want.
So is an AIM-9L not supersonic as well lol.

Also to be supersonic in a F-16 the fuel consumption will massively decrease the time it has to get a kill meaning the Harrier can just wait it out and kill it when it runs home.

fair enough, that is the most compressed BR range in the game so its not surprising
the only situation where a harrier wins is just like in the falklands, where harriers forced their enemies into the exact situation they cant win in, low altitude dogfights where running away makes you take a missile up the backside
Yes the Harrier also has the endurance time to force the fight where they want it.
The FA.2 can deny the SuperSonics flying high in the first place as if they do they are easy picking for blue vixen and amraam.
really isn’t that valuable if the enemy just loiters above and doesn’t get impatient.
doesn’t mean they cant lob one from higher and therefore further off. the harrier doesn’t stand a chance unless both parties are forced into a 1v1 duel like it was war thunder or DCS

Yes in bvr they are just outclassed unfortunately but that’s a bit beyond their time anyways.
A plane from 1969 able to dice it with much later and more aerodynamics advanced planes is fairly impressive.
