Nah i dont mind that one at all. At least that mode doesnt restrict the map to mw2 rust.
I think many reason why people ODL in battle.
- Bad maps/team
- Half team ODL
- Same matchmaking uptiers
- Same modes
I don’t ODL because I’m someone who doesn’t give up in games lol regardless of the difficulty level, regardless of broken mechanics etc… Everyone is different. A lot of people rage quit easily and its funny to see it. 😂
That is one of the advantages of a 1 vehicle lineup. One death and your done…you know that going in, and you know that exiting. Nothing to get jazzed about, tis good fun.
You play top tier and get Abandoned Factory.
What kind of demented idiot thought that was a good idea?
Are you saying you don’t like the lemming train?
80% of my tank is made out of my turret traves system you could miss the entire turret basket, gunner, loader, driver, commander, and still destroy my turret traves system, yeah I don’t stay in a game after that first death anymore when ever I play USA, for Russia, Germany, and UK I don’t have this problem with those line ups and won’t have to 1 death leave.
Edit: Also one benefit of 1 death leaving is there is no frustration, did you get 2 frags and got killed by a heli from 7km away? no problem leave and que for next match, did u kill the guy that just capped in IFV and just revenge bombed you 2 minute into the match? no problem next match is waiting for you, did you finally get a large map and just get killed because an IFV was behind a hill and shot its missile at you with you having 0 options of defending yourself? don’t worry about it next match is 25 seconds away.
Like why try to come back to the match honestly after the first death? Because I can tell you 1 of the next 3 things will happen to you, option 1, enemy is already watching ur spawn from an advantages position and will kill you, option 2 you will die to a heli/cas immediately before getting to the position to fight again, or the rarest option of all 3, you will get to a position and be able to get more frags, now whats more fun in your opinion? spend a minute and hope you can get to a position to fight again and have a 80% chance of just dying without achieving anything? or we que for next match that will start in under 30 seconds and will give us the best option of getting more kills? to me new match just sounds so much better these days, why be the Sisyphus of the match and try to win it when your entire team has fallen apart in the first 2 minutes, when you could be Ares and just go on to the next battle and the next and the next and enjoy the combat for the sake of it
I’ll 1 death leave if its a terrible map and if I know that I won’t have fun and theres nothing I can do to change that let alone win.
For example being instantly spawn camped on Mozdok
After thinking about it for a while I also decided to leave a match when our team is getting spawnlocked, I’m not a SL pinata for the other team, I have most nations researched to some extent and have things to get in each one of them so I won’t spawn in every tank that I can if I don’t see a positive outcome to do so.
I don’t even understand enemy teams getting stomped that continue to spawn in every vehicles that they can, I mean, maybe if the spawns weren’t so easily camped and had actual cover to use and fight back I would, but 90% of the time you spawn in the open with the enemy behind hard cover just waiting for your invulnerability timer to wear off or that you move far enough for it to dissapear.
No thank you.
The only time I re-spawn when our team is getting spawn-camped is when tickets are almost all gone.
Then I wait for enemies to get close and spawn my vehicle that has best chance at one-shot kills. I usually get one camper before tickets are gone or I’m killed by another. A couple of times I’ve managed to bag 2.
yeah we all do that too but I mean when the enemies are so well entrenched that you got no chance at all anyway, why bother.
I prefer the crew lock than that.
I left ground, few days after starting it about 10 months ago. The little time i played i one death left every game as its spomge sponge sponge- get 1 popped.
Dont know how anyone plays it. Diabolical game play
I only do this when …
- “time” is running out
- enemies are within the automatic detection zone AND will be in LOS.
The spawn protection allows me to get first shot every time. Often it’s a kill. And sometimes other enemies in the area don’t react quick enough.
Of course trying with with an IS2 means you only get 1 shot, so maybe not the best choice.
I can same the same about air-arcade where players gerymander their lineup so the best vehicle is always going against “lesser” opponents. It’s especially brutal when those players get a downtier. Ugh-city.
I don’t play arcade so I’m not familiar with it’s mechanics but that seems not cool lol.
my teammates destroy my cover just to get a kill then die to a guy who was standing next to a blind teammate. thats my reasonf or 1 death leaving
I do that (1 death leave) very seldom, only if all of the following happens: 1) half of the own team dead very early 2) full uptier 3) crap map
I rarely do 1 death leaving, but if I do the following things happened:
- I got one-shot by some fishy circumstances in the first 2-3 minutes
- The map isn’t a favorable one for my chosen vehicles (hilly terrain with bad gun depression. Instantly disadvantaged…)
- I played for longer, wanted to play one more match and my team gets steamrolled right at the start.
- Spawncamping
Only play air RB so not sure about this.
But if my best tank i owned shoots 5 rounds into an enemy and they turn round and one pop me. What are my other lesser tanks going.to do?
Hence why 1 game leaving ended up permanatly leaving.
Were you firing AP rounds into a soft target? If so your shots were mostly passing through. WT is funny that way, and you would need to switch to HE round to finish them off.
But I’ve also experienced what you described recently. My T34-57 put four rounds into a Cromwell (2 into turret and 2 into front glacis) and did not kill it. Then it returned fire and killed me in 1 shot. Can be very frustrating.
