I just unlocked the M1A1 AIM. I’ve played the game for quite a bit (mid tier in some nations low in all, highest tech tree vehicle is 8.0 but 8.7 experience from the 122MT) but I wouldn’t consider myself incredibly good and this is my first top tier tank. I don’t want to play top tier GRB since that seems like possibly the worst experience in the game aside from chasing down the last bomber in ARB for 20 minutes.
What is the current state of top tier GAB? Is it better or worse (don’t just say it’s worse because you don’t like arcade)? Does anyone even play it? Is the AIM good?
GAB imo removes the abrams only survivability by showing a big marker over your head. The abrams turret ring is very weak and if hit will either kill you or remove your turret for 30+ seconds.
Fast, manuverable and flanky tanks are then limited to stand up fights, not my favorite thing. I moved to GRB and haven’t looked back.
It’ll be frustrating :\
The AIM is good if you hit shots first and are accurate. It has good pen on the cannon.
Dont play GAB and play GRB the loading times are huge for matches that end faster then GRB and shoot crew and not ERA stock in the AIM.

Also the AIM has a great APFSDS that has good pen not as much as M829A2 though and great damage.
Im so happy it is a rank 2 Modification (or rank 3 idk I havent checked the mods in a while since I spaded it).
