The Su-25BM is currently sitting at 11.0 in air realistic battles, which I find ridiculous as the tech tree and premium counterparts (Su-25T and Su-39) sit at 11.3, with the same air to air loadouts.
The Su-25BM is actually better than both Su-25T and 39 as it does not have the heavier airframe (with whatever you call that lump) and so has a better flight model than both, alongside having more countermeasures. It could be argued that it sits at a lower BR than the Su-39 because it lacks a radar pod, however the fact the 25BM has access to R73s at 11.0 (The lowest BR of any IRCCM air to air missile) is ridiculous.

BM up lol, F-4C vs R73 doesn’t sound fun, imo gaijin didn’t move it up to match them because its an event vehicle not played much

Well it can move to 11.3, but I dont see how it will change anything. After all its a subsonic plane with only 2 R-73 missiles (without HMS), no radar (and radar missiles respectively).
i think it could nove to 11.3, but as the guy above said, it wont change much

US mains when they can’t just easily kill any plane a full BR higher than them ^
many planes wish they have this luxury to just ignore something a full bracket above them and fly safely
again, you just don’t have to get within its range

Probably due to lower rewards I imagine, vikhr pods are kinda crazy for ground pounding score. No tpod also means no funny kh25ml ghetto fox1 kills.
R73 without hmd isnt particullary scary, just dont turn hard when you flare or let them get a side/top/down aspect shot on you while too low energy to pull in, same as magic 2.
I get a lot people aren’t used to irccm missiles at that bracket but its something you’ll have to learn eventually and 2 of them on a subsonic with no hmd or radar (su39 can offbore with the pod) is gonna be the easiest to learn off of instead of running away.

Vikhrs are also very powerful at AA as they are essentially unflareable (plus it gets an internal TGP)
Are some of you guys seriously arguing why the SU-25BM should REMAIN at 11.0? Do you guys realise that the A-7K which itself flies worse than the SU-25 only rocks 2x AIM-9Ls at a higher BR of 11.3?
This thing should absolutely be moved up to 11.3, the fact this is two BR steps below the Tornado GR.1 is absolutely diabolical lmao.
In no world is this thing on par with a SU-22M3, it gets both R-60MKs and R-73s and not to mention its amazing countermeasure count

They really only work in headon, dont pull enough I find otherwise and dont keep their speed like kh25. Not sure the values but feel like vikhrs pull 2-3g and kh25 like 5-6.

what can a flareless plane do to a r73 equipped frogfoot? you cant even fool the missile with a well placed zuni, there is literally NOTHING you can do to an aware player in this situation

almost every nation has a plane at 10.0 or higher with no flares, so your snarky poke at US players means nothing

I find the repetition of the exact same arguments used previously for other blatantly undertiered attack aircraft presented here amusing. These arguments were presented when the A-10A fought early supersonics, and when the R-60M slinging Su-25 fought F-86s.

All aspect missiles (even bad ones) against flareless jets is already pretty bad, but adding TVC and IRCCM (so they can’t even use rocket flare strat) is just ridiculous. Boadly comparable A-7K with worse missiles is higher BR, that should be argument enough to uptier the Su-25BM.

you also don’t ever have to takeoff, or get score, or get kills, or do anything, and you won’t if your strategy to play a plane is to simply not exist within another planes sphere.

How many planes dont have flares at 10.0+? And in that case I would just stay away, and you are gonna suffer to a lot more than r73 in a uptier and usually against planes you cant stay away from. Any radar missile cant be rocket flared and forces you to be glued to deck.
Also I dont have or care if it gets moved to 11.3, but it is def worse than the 11.3 ones.
