Why bother wasting a player’s time in taking a bomber or attacker if you’re simply going to have the enemy be able to spawn one or more fighters literally one second behind them, with a major speed advantage and with this idiotic damage model that sees huge 4 engined bombers fall apart as if they were made of paper as soon as a fighter even LOOKS at it. Provide a CAS free ground mode like players have requested for years now instead of this complete joke implementation that there is now.
While you’re at it, for gods sake do something about the targeting lead indicator for SPAA which is so inaccurate it’s a joke.

You would like the bombers to survive longer so you can take a shot at them with your AA which is having accuracy problems.
Ima has a point. More than 50% of the time when I get a bomber it does not make it to the battlefield because a fighter spawned 150m behind me. it’s a complete waste of time pressing 9.
Air power should spawn behind your own lines. As fighters are quicker they still have a chance to intercept - as opposed to a guarantee kill. Plus there might be spaa on the ground which has an ungodly chance of SHOOTING BOMBS in the air.
At THE VERY LEAST bombers should start much higher and the min distance between the two should be increased.
I have no trouble with the air strike implementation. I like it as an addition and an option to help a stock vehicle.
I do not pick bombers unless I have good reason to believe that I have little opposition. Usually strike aircraft have the choice of ground strike or air combat, and can gain some score either way.
I also like the newer exit mechanic, by which you actually get a useful reward for surviving an air mission.
Basically, I don’t share the criticism but find that gaijin has balanced CAS in ground arcade reasonably well.

I have found that it is far better to just take the attacker route, I have many times picked up 4-6 kills just by using rockets and guns. I’m not a fan of bombs because they have like a 3 seconds fuse and seem very wonky when it comes to it, especially if you drop them from a mid to low altitude them most of the time the ground vehicles just drive away. Many times you’ll get planes (in the mid BR range) like the SBD-2C, F8F, F4U-4, or other planes with rockets and bombs, and you’ll have better speed, better maneuverability, and you can get into one with only 2 spawn tickets instead of 3. Meaning many times I’m the only one in the air, and before they’ve even spawned SPAA. I do agree bombers do suffer, but I’d say that’s probably a good thing, CAS is already annoying, why make it even easier for someone to wipe out an entire cap after get two kills and a cap or whatever. Plus some of the bombers they have in the mode never would be that close to the ground hitting tanks in the first place, and if they did, they would be blown out of the sky in an instant.
