What is the logic behind Nuke bombers?

I did add air superiority right? That includes friendly fighters. Also, just because you find it “boring” does not mean it is a viable tool to negate your complaint.

Playing fighters in GRB is trolling yourself.

You receive zero RP progress towards any of your desired vehicles AND get worse RP progress towards air vehicles compared to what’s possible in ARB.

But if the enemy has a bomber up that is free farming my team…

Imagine playing a vehicle for KD and not your lineup to help your team - WT 2024

Not KD. Progress.

If you’re in a fighter, you might as well NOT be playing at all because you’re getting no rewards beyond silver lions.

Take off, kill the player that is bomb farming the team, J out, go back to ground battles. Or spawn SPAA

I don’t like flying planes that why I play Ground forces. A mod that is usually dominated by aircraft…

It can end a game where people are just farming the spawn points but there are a ton of tickets remaining, like modes other than Domination.

Secondly it rewards high skill players who otherwise would stop playing the game.

Imagine having a team mate with a fighter who would put a quick end to the enemy in a fighter bomber farming defenseless tanks for the entire game…
OR…
Imagine having a team mate with a fighter any aircraft who would put a quick end to the enemy in a fighter nuke bomber farming defensless tanks for the entire game going to win the game for his team…

This addition allows a player who is good enough to win despite having team with 1 brain cell.

It is good, You can still stop it.

yesterday i got nearly a nuke just by playing CAS.
Its way to easy to obtain…

Getting like 3k+ sp is not exactly easy.

2.5k to be precise, not to mention that at the beginning You already have some.

True but he is spawning an attacker. He would need to get about 500 extra sp.

Of course it could be a bit less if he is getting a lot of scouts.

I’d argue that the nuke is a great addition. For players who are getting better their first nuke serves as a milestone and testament to their evolving skill and many times their team is getting absolutely slammed and Mr. Timmy in his well earned B-29 riding on 10 ground kills and a few caps can turn the tide with one click of space. If you can’t defend against a nuke that’s honestly a skill issue. Depending on BR, the B-29 is vulnerable to anybody on the ground or in the air, the IL-28 is vulnerable to radar SPAA, especially Gepards, and can be taken out with a plane relatively easily, and the Jaguar has, you guessed it, the same vulnerabilities. If your team is steamrolling the other and you let a nuke through that’s on your team. If you let a guy in a plane score cheap kills for long enough to get a nuke that is entirely on your team, no matter the tier. Air superiority aircraft exist for a reason, and I’d argue that GRB is the easiest mode to score Air-to-air kills in. All in all, the nuke is a really great addition and not pointless like you said, it primarily serves as a reward for being skilled and a potential to turn the tide in a heartbeat.

Also, I’d love to see your argument when you’re in the enemy’s shoes.

I like nukes but imo they’re poorly implemented. Like… they just make the game end, that’s kinda it. I guess that’s the only way they can be implemented though.

I’d love if the nuclear explosion was far away so you could still be fighting in a wasteland (with those vehicles that are NBC capable and if they survived the blast).

Today got a perfect example of what nukes are for:

SPAA? I had a SAM in a fight just yesterday and a very high flying jet blasted teammate after teammate with guided bombs of some sort. I tried to shoot him with my SAM, but he was so high that he dodged both of the missiles I got off before hitting me with the same ord he was killing teammates with.

so even without nukes the game would have gone exactly the same? ok.

CAS shouldn’t earn you enough points for a nuke carrier. Simple fix.
