Or is it yet another Gaijin damage model screw up? I don’t know what the hell is going on but I’m finding where previously I would hit KV1s, T34s, etc in the turret cheeks or sides and the overpressure would kill the enemy, crew, recently, almost no matter WHERE on the turret I get a hit, it does either NOTHING at all, or just takes out the gun barrel. This is a 152mm gun and even at close range, the enemy tanks just laugh it off.
I’ve been using this tank for a long time and know what I’m doing with it (6:1 KD with this tank) so something has changed lately as I’m hitting tanks in the same spots as before. Anyone else finding the same issue?
At the same time, I’d be grateful if someone could explain how, in a game that should have a functioning damage system, an SU152 APHE shell hits a plain jane T34 in the upper front plate and does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at a range of about 150m. Yeah, I know. It’s the well known driver’s hatch BS that Gaijin has known about for about a decade and done stuff all about. Seriously, this game gets more broken by the day. What a joke.
