I found that the Yak 3 is good. I would like to know if there are better ones.

I don’t fly much but the Yak-1B seems to be very user friendly, you can make some sharp turns and get rid of ass sniffer without much effort.
The basic Yak-9 is very good for dogfighting at it’s br. Meanwhile Yak-9B is great fighter with CAS capabilities.

Yak 1B is very good for its BR.
But the absolute strongest is the Yak-3U stupidly powerful, fast, low drag, very good ergonomics, good turn, severely undertiered and just a great plane unless you are the poor guy having to fight it.
YAK-3T in my oppinion
Isn’t the Yak-3U one of the most OP props in the game? I’d say that one.

Most of the yak-3s are pretty good imo, especially the 3u and 3p.
For cas the 9b is pretty decent if u have good aim (4x100kg) and good flight performance for anti cas duty.

The Yak-3, obviously the event one that is even lower in BR and the Yak-3U are pretty much the best.
I comfortable fly out the French Yak-3 in ground battles at BR 6.7 and 7.7.
Recently unlocked the F4U-7, which is 6.0 but stock is just so much less capable to fight in ground battles against other planes.
If you don’t outturn planes you beat them easily in other metrics, so it’s almost impossible to lose unless you have to fight multiple enemies.
The Yak-3 is kinda criminal at 4.3 with the current damage of 12.7mm and 20mm HE rounds, since the only reason a plane with that kind of performance is so low was because of the lacking firepower.

It’s crazy how the Yak-9T is 4.0 and then there’s this at 4.3. It’s nuts.

the only time ive beaten them is when they’ve been taken to 6.7 GRB and I’m in a mk24 spitfire or when I have done a 1v1 and I used the Spitfire LF mk9 so I can outturn it, very few planes within its normal BR brackets stand a chance if the pilot is even half aware

Yak-1B, Yak-3U are the two best ones (aside from the Yak-3 you already mentioned). The first Yak9s with the M107 engine are also pretty damn good, though not as maneuverable.
